it's up to u if u want to wake her up around mid-night for another bottle of milk. i won't do so cos Chloe sleeps very well & it's not good for bb to drink milk during sleeping (bad for teeth; may cause teeth decay at a later stage). if Alicia can stay awake after u wake her up so late & u haven't slept yet, it's ok. if this is so, remember to use the wet cotton pad to wipe her mouth after the last fed of milk.

I also have the same problem on bb's weight and his weight is only 18 bls. Now I will follow all of your advice to see how bb's reaction. Again, thanks for your advice.

I am a new member, my daughter name is Wan Sum. But I have a problem for her eating time. She just like to drink milk, when I feed her other food. I try to feed her so many thing even congee, fruit, potato ...etc you just eat four spoon or seven spoon. I don't know how to feed her in future.

Next week, she is nine month. I am really afraid her development.

your bb is a girl?

do your bb eats cereal (糊仔)? i think it's easier for bb to start with cereal first. i choose the rice cereal instead of the milk cereal cos we will use's milk to make the cereal. hence, bb will get used to the taste more easily. have u tried to feed your bb with cereal before?

your bb will be nine months next week. u should try to feed your bb with 1 semi-solid food per day, or else she will not have enough nutrition.

for cereal, u can try to feed bb with two teaspoon first (just to let her get used to the taste). i also feed my bb with cereal first, she's eating around 7 teaspoons (very full like a hill) now. chloe doesn't quite like the congee before (i fed her for a week around 7 months' old). i stopped feeding her congee & gave her back the cereal. i only tried the congee again at 8 months' old. i start with two tablespoon first & she's ok with it. u can try (smashed) carrot congee. the taste is 易入口 for bb at first.

Many Thanks for your advice. She is a baby girl.

When I start at six month is fed her cereal, but she don't like. After I checkwith my domestic helper. Find out she alway hardly to push her to eat (my baby always crying). So I think may be she will little bit afraid for eating.

Now I need to restart again. Something like six month baby start with cereal again. Unfortunately, she sick yesterday, she spitting three time. cos she always play with my sister two daughter and join a sunday school in the church.

Did you know the Milk name Japan Snow is it good? I want my daughter change to this new milk. Now I fed her HK Snow, but no DHA inside.

after she recover from her sickness, u can restart the cereal again like six months' old.

yes, i've heard the japanese brand 雪印. both the japanese brands 雪印 & 森永 are quite good. some of the babies in Jan. are drinking these brands.

did your daughter change to this new milk before she was sick? it's better for the new milk & cereal to go step by step (ie. new milk -> sick -> recover -> cereal). new things shouldn't go together.

it's not good to push/force babies to eat sth. they will be afraid of it. a happy mood, a good environment, a fixed schedule ... is :)

i hope that your bb will get used to the new milk & cereal gradually.
