Couldn't located the BB thru ultrasound in week 5.

Am now nearly 6 weeks and have found some brown secretion last nite. I am so worry now...... :-(

我都係07/06既準媽媽~~

預產期係7月22日,但係上個星期五幫大仔開完生日之後,
星期六流啡,即刻去睇E生,醫生話未見細B心跳,而家保唔保到BB都係55波 :-( :-(
訓左2日床,今個星期要去睇多次,如果仲唔見BB,
就好.... :-( :-(
希望BB乖乖地啦

Hi all,
I "bed-rest" from Thur until Sun, and still have brown thing coming out. I don't know if bed-rest really helps in my case.
Today I go to see the Dr. and she said now is 6 weeks, and see BB's heartbeat. That's really a good news and comfort me a lot. My Dr. still give me a shot for 安胎

does "bed-rest" mean you have to stay in bed for the whole day except dining, bath....?

It's good to hear that you can see the BB's heartbeat now.

btw, when is your expected delivery date?

Don't worry! My brown secretion lasted only one week, mainly week 6. I think bed-rest did help a bit, better stay at home and take some rest.

I also took some progesterone pills (安胎藥) at that time. I believe this helped a bit too.

我都係有左７個星期加５日，兩星期前去睇過私家醫生，個陣時仲未有心跳．之前有試過嘔一次，而家有陣時都會覺得無胃口同成日覺得頭暈．不過我就無啡色物，但係成日都覺得肚痛，唔知感係咪都係正常呢？醫生剩係開左葉酸比我，要每朝早食，唔知有咩用呢？如果ｂｂ正常我既預產期係１２�７日．

so happy today because doctor said that baby is okay now, and i no need to take bed-rest, so that i will back to office on tomorrow. how about you? everythings alright ? :lol:

葉酸差不多等於維他命(水溶性Ｂ族維生素),孕婦0係大肚早期攝取足夠的葉酸，可以降低bb大腦和脊椎發育畸形既可能。不過唔好食過量喎~

Hi, I am a new joiner. My expect delivery date is mid july 2006. Does anyone heard about United Christian Hospital (in Kwun Tong)? Is it a good hospital for giving birth?

Hi Wongshiulo,
Sorry for late reply, as I usually chat BK during lunch hour.

For me, I stay in bed for almost the whole day (Thur & Fri) except dining, bathing and couple hours sitting in front of computer.

On Sat, I went out in the morning and then stay in bed from 1:00pm until late at night. On Sun, I also go out for a walk in the morning and then stay in bed the whole day. But, I still have brown thing coming out all these days.

I asked my Dr. if I need to stay in bed. She said it's not necessary, as my job didn't require me to walk around or stand for the whole day. I'm just a regular OL, and sitting won't harm. Just don't hold the "heavy" thing, and don't be 粗勞. She said however if I want the sick leave, she can give me for a week. She also mentioned it's not unusal if have more problem than the 1st pregnancy (probably it's because I'm older than the first time)?!

Yes, knowing BB has heartbeat really comforts me a lot. (at least it's growing). I hope it keeps getting stronger and stronger.

Right now I'm still taking the Chinese Medicine for 安胎. The Chinese Dr. said I can take for 1 more week, and then should be fine and stable?! (keep my finger cross)

My expected delivery date is 21-Jul-06 (my LMP was 14-Oct)
