I just came back from two nights staying in PMH since I had an appointment on 13 April. But in that morning before reaching the appointment time 0945. I felt some clots on sanitary napkin, I went to Emergency Room. Then they transfered me to O&G(female ward) for check up and had to stay that night. I had a lot of blood after two pieces of clots. Initiatlly I thought that was the sac,it was not. If the sac came out, it is in pink colour and it is a kind of fat meat with some clots. In the afternoon, there was a bigger piece of tissue came out and before and after a lot of blood came out. The doctor had the ultrasound scan and said my uterus was still thick,it means there was still something inside and she saw a lot of blood as well. She asked the nurse to give me injection(stop bleeding and made thr uterus contraction.It seemed the injection was not very effective in contraction(from my feeling), but certainly the frequency to change M napkins decrease,it seemed a normal M volume. I was very afraid. At the first night I couldn't sleep because they didn't allow me to eat or drink after 00. In the second day morning, the other houseman said it likely complete passed out and I could eat and felt happier.The second afternoon it came out two more pieces of tissue (2cmx1.2cm(my guess))Then another morning, there was a scan again but the another( they had few doctors to petrol the ward) said I may have incompete,may need to do D&C(operation Dilation/suction curettage). I was quite insisted and unwilling to use this method. After third scan, unfortunatlely, it was still have some 11mmx??forgot exact size show on copy. This morning, that was the third doctor(houseman) had the scan for me. I mentioned I don't want to do D&C. She said it was okay if it come out and it will, but take longer time. Now I take a chance and hope it come out after taking the drugs of Misoprostol Tablet 200MCG(three times per day),contraction drugs. I really wish it come out, otherwise, I have to do D&C(15-20mins operation).From you are pushing from ward to come back and wake up (1hrs 20 mins)Why I know? There is another patient did it,because her tissues were seperated and she needed to do the operation of 11 weeks of sac and fetus. There was no pain but a bit fear before that operation.
Em...That's it. I think if you guys have some questions, the most safe is consult the doctor. Different ppl have diff method. Another lady in my ward,almost same age of me, her baby had heartbeat in 8 weeks, then stopped. Few days ago, 10 weeks 3 days. She just needed to take drugs because the baby in her carvix already, just one more step... the doctor had the decision and let her came out naturally. Finally, she passed out a big tissue but still had a piece insdie. She need to take the drug at home like me, but in this case, her chance for that piece came out should be more easier than mine.
If you stayed in the hospital a night, you will see a lot. Very often u saw ppl cried and buried in her b/f or husband arms. Of course I know they have miscarriage or the chance of miscarriage is high. For me, I look forward and but a big worries. Haha. Uncertain is a kind of worry.
