幾時返黎hk 行下, 咁你而家是租屋住定買架, (如太私人可以不用答架) 貴嗎 ? 對於我黎講阿妹買個度好貴, 好似一個月供成4仟幾. 我阿妹有個friend 佢是係屋企做托兒所, 大陸人黎架都咁本事, 是不是要修讀某d course, 同取牌先可以在家開托兒所.

Actually I like south bay (San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas etc) better than San Francisco (SF, Daly City etc). It's more "quiet" compare to the city (S.F.) but it's convenient to go to places and parking is not hard. If your brother-in-law work in San Jose, then it's more convenient to live in SJ area. Where does your sister work? Need to 坐成個鐘公共車返屋企? She doesn't drive or does she work in San Francisco?

I don't when I gonna go back to HK for visit. I guess I plan to go to HK before my son turn 2 years old (he's 10 months now). Over 2, the airplane ticket very expensive.

The housing price in this area is like that. 供成4仟幾 yau hai dor jor siu siu. We are in a similar situation but my husband got the house a few years back so it was a little bit cheaper. But the house size/plan is something silimar to your sister's house. We are living in a townhouse too. But if you buy a house, you can get tax benefit. If you rent, you don't get those benefit. Also, usually the house price will go up so you can view it as an investment (while you are living there) as well. Anyway, most of the single houses (has front and backyard, garage, and 3-4 bedrooms, not too old) are over million dollars anyway. The housing price in this area is among one of the highest cities in the US.

Yeah, some people 係屋企做托兒所. Those can make money! Daycare is quite expensive in my area. If you take care a few kids at home, you may make more than what those engineer and PhD made working in the office. You need to study and get those license. I don't think it's hard to get those. You can go take those child CPR class etc. Just that I am not interested in taking care of kids/babies, otherwise, working as a family day care provider can make decent money!

FACTORY AUDIT 真係好煩, 有時又要用黑錢收賣個INSPECTOR. 我公司好細只係做我地客自已DESIGN PRODUCT, 最主要是一D小家品. 全部都係出口. 你公司是做SUNDRY OR GARMENT.

我阿妹做bank a/c job 不過我唔記得邊個location, 仲有一份part time supermarket cashier job, 新樓要成10幾個月後先入伙, 所以而家要save money, 但佢又話借政府$所以唔可以搵咁多, 因過額就不可以借.
baby 是不是under 2 years 不用pay ticket fee, 你幾耐未返過黎hk, 之前我阿妹around 2 years back to hk 1 time, 但而家睇怕有排不回來, 其實阿妹都去咗us 成10年啦, 好多時都掛住佢架, 上年佢返黎買咗部視像電話而家得閒就會成日同佢傾電話. 你係hk 還有什麼親人, 有無申請屋企人過us.

我做shipping + 小小a/c job, 公司得3個人同打雜無分別, 自從阿女升上小學後真係好想放工即刻返屋企, 睇功課同溫書. 最好搵份5 days job. 但而家我都成30幾years olds , 睇怕好難搵工&人工會好poor 而家睇下可以做得幾耐得幾耐. 我boss 而家叫我搵d英文course 讀, 所以黎緊7月要返學進修下, 因我只有F.5學歷.

I have been in the US same year as you 1994.
I didn't go back to HK for more than 10 years.
I think I might visit in couple years. I am not sure if I can go back to HK and stays for awhile but for sure I can't stay too long. Just like you, I'm too get used to the states. But it is good to visit HK and my old classmates.

baby under 2 yr old need to pay certain % of the adult's ticket fee. Not free ah. But if baby is over 2 year old, then it's the same as adult's ticket price. So, it would be a bit cheaper to bring baby back if he's still under 2 yr old (though it's still not that cheap). The last time I went back to HK was in 1998 summer time. All my relatives (mom, brother, aunts, uncles, grandma etc) are all in HK. Usually I don't talk to the folks in HK on the phone that often. I online IM or email them. My mom online everyday anyway. :) We have webcam too so my mom can see my son via the webcam. I am not a US citizen yet so I haven't apply anyone to the US.

yeah, it's nice to visit HK some times. The thing is if I have a job then I may not have too much vacation time to go to HK. If I don't have a job, then I may not want to go to HK for too long and spend too much money. Either have money but no time, or have time but no money. :)

Didn't see you show up for long time. I have applied the summer school for the kids. You know, the school's summer program is too short. I wanna them to have longer summer program. It costs so expensive. We applied to Agapeland Community Center in richmond, closed to my working place. How about you?
