oh... ic... this Sat! Good luck, I think CC is ok, as she is very stable & mature.
re : Piano Lesson
I remember you'll apply for CC at Tom Lee, am I right? just want to check the cost, as my home' downstair recently has a Arts Centre, they've so many classes (incl piano), $480/4 lessons/30mins, just want compare.

re : Piano lesson
thanks. In fact my feeling is : if the kid is stable, calm, maybe can start to learn instead of join the PG style. Heib's case, she can learn independent, no need accompany, so will let her to try from in Dec as just downstair, 3 mins for walking.
If PG style : 45-60 mins
If one to one : 30 mins for age 3 is good enough

piano playing. . . .age 3 only. . . can manage their fingers?
from TOM LEE, think they are too young to learn piano. . . .so, age 3, just music class, learn some basic concept first. . . I guess "do re mi fa so la ti do". . . . . .
and for my gal, i don't think she can sit and listen for 30 mins. . . . only facing to the piano and miss.

before the trial lesson, I also had same feeling to you, in fact for the beginner, esp below age 3, they'll teacher them to teach a key only, eg, one finger, do, re, me, fa, so, la.....then one finger but continue 3 kesy, do, re, me & repeat....
For heib, she can sit for 20 mins & listen to the teacher what she wants her to follow.. the teacher said usually they accept over age 3 as the child can sit stable & listen, heib is ok. I'll let her to try, if she feels no interest, then stop... music.. can train the brain, hand & eyes' co-operation...
