Last month, when we took Jack back to the hospital for regular check, we told the mid-wife he woke up 6 7 times everynight. Then the mid-wife asked us whether he could roll over and lift his head up more than 45 degrees. And he could. Then she said we could try to give him cereal and see whether he would sleep better during the nights. I tried to give him some cereal but he did not take it. After couple times, I gave up. Next month we will be away, I don't think I will give him any solid food during the holidays. By the time we come back, he will be 6 months old. It wil be the ideal time to start!!

I remember you said Ashley is 20 pounds. I met a doctor b4 he said if there is no trouble for a baby drinking milk, actually no rush to start the solid. He said usually there are two reasons to start solid food earlier. One is the baby not taking the milk alright, like drink too little and improper weight gain. Second is the baby is too big and by drinking milk alone cannot fill up his tummy and still hungry all the time. If Ashley is a happy baby, having an ideal weight gain, no rush to start la!! It is just my opinion!!

Thanks for your opinion, I think Ashley properly hungry at night, cos she always want me to feed her, so I think I might need to consider the solid food to her, she grows well but her size is XXL, me and the hubby only proper size, so dont know why she's different.

I will go to buy the organic ceral for her to try n see will it helps.

I bought the hairband for ashley in lunch time, the one with pumkin lights flashing, hope she loves it, so tired these days, ashley still cried in the midnight cos hungry, I woke up few times and dont know is it the time to feed her the cereal

But I make an appointment to clinic to c the nurse, what I want to do is trying to let her eat the cereal on saturday and c anything wrong, then I can talk to nurse on Tuesday, cos I'm off
