睇左<<我們最幸福>>透過六個人物故事講述北韓而家既情況,睇完好感慨,覺得自己雖然對香港既現況有不滿,但比起佢地,我地真係好幸福,想唔到饑荒既然離我地咁近!

中間有D著墨講小朋友既情況,我覺得作者已經寫得唔煽情,但我都忍唔住流眼淚...但本書真係好值得睇.

Did you watch the movie "The Notebook"? It's a touching story too.

I'm now reading another Nicolas Spark's book - The Rescue. So far so good.

No ar~ I enjoy to read novel rather than movie. It gives lots of imagine during reading.

I'll read "The Wedding" & "The Rescus" next.

Like Nicholas Sparks Novels, especially, The note and Dear John.
Just finished reading "Big Nate: in class by himself" although is kids book, this book is funny.

Reading "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" and " Are you there Vodka? It's me, Chelsea."

Agreed. It is so sad to know her life in LA.所以有時覺得文人早逝都不是壞事.

最近重看何馬的藏地密碼(主要借給細仔看),故事分第一季和第2季,一共19本書.故事結局太不如人意,希望有第3季可補償,我總希望有大團圓結局,不想要無限唏噓,留下餘地任人聯想的尾聲,只不知道何馬還會不會寫.

I have finished reading :

(1) "The Lost Boy" by David James Pelzer.

David James (Dave) Pelzer (born December 29, 1960 in Daly City, California)[1] is an American author, best known for his 1995 memoir of childhood abuse, A Child Called "It". Pelzer is the son of a San Francisco fireman, Stephen Joseph Pelzer (1923–1980), who was of Austrian descent, and Catherine Roerva Christen Pelzer (1929–1992).
Pelzer was born in San Francisco, California, and was the third of five boys. Now living in a different state with his second wife and kids. Pelzer wrote in his book as a child, he was continually abused, mistreated, and beaten by his mother, who thought of it as a game. The book documents how his mother starved him, forced him to drink ammonia, stabbed him in the stomach, burned his arm on a gas stove and forced him to eat his own vomit. His teachers stepped in on March 5, 1973 and 12-year-old Pelzer was placed in foster care. In 1979, he joined the Air Force and later became an author. Catherine Pelzer's fourth child, Richard B. Pelzer, has also written about having been abused.

Thanks for recommending the series of "The Hungry Games". I read / watch the introduction and trailer, sounds very interesting and attractive.

That will be my next target.

哈佛的女孩

一直以為這本書是分享如何培訓小孩入名大學, 但原來其中有好多值得我們家長去學習, 縱然我不是以哈佛為目標 (自問沒有這個能力), 但不能否認家長的培育對小朋友有很深影響

這本書有 part1 (學前教育至小學時期） part2 （主要中學六年）
對於我兩個小朋友都已是高小至初中，　part 2 比較適合我，特別提到自主學習, 防範早戀問題好值得我思考
