I bought a set of "Mozart Effect" CD last month and I was listening to it almost everyday, but until last week when I saw my doctor and I asked him "is it true that baby can hear noises outside mother's tummy?" He said "Absolutly NOT!!!, imagine that when you are under water, will you be able to hear anything above the water?? The merchants are just trying to make money, so they claim that unborn-babies can hear anything outside mummy's tummy..."
My doctor also said that un-born babies can only hear their mother's voices, so if we want them to listen to music, the only way is we sing to them.
So, all mothers to be, don't be too sensitive, your babies movement inside your tummy has NOTHING to do with - World Cup, Mozart, or their daddy's voices, it's just caused by your faster jumping heartbeat or your had suddenly raised your own voice...
Hope my doctor's words won't make you too disappointed as I am...
