唔該晒呀, 但我想問做breasts 檢查唔使做scan 嗎? 用人手就得? 我聽過smear test 係有兩種, 請問你地知唔知係邊兩種? 有咩分別? 因為我只係HK 做過一次breasts scan (係旺角d 醫生), 都要HKD1000, 我想問其實有冇d 婦科檢查既package 既呢? 即係包所有婦女既檢查...我唔想去好多唔同地方檢查, 想方便d.我猜如果係packages 可能會平宜d!

I have tried those physical check up package and then typically I added the smear test and breast test...if you add to a package it's around $200-300 on top. If I do it at the gynea probably around $5-600 (forgot loo long time not done there now). For smear test I do it only once every two years...not sure why when I'm not pregnant with a baby in the tummy I do feel embarrassed having to get this done!!! Do you guys feel the same?

I like having a foreigner boss too! My bosses are all in the US so even better!

I agree it's probably an adjustment period only...afterall every organization has different culture and it typically takes me 2 months in a new job to start feeling comfortable. I hate the feelings when you are not sure that's the right person or that's a right question. After the transition when I started feeling I know who is who and what is what, I felt a lot at ease.

I also watched Phantom both times they came to HK. So yes the one before last was probably 10 years ago! I watched three times only one of which I had to buy my own ticets. The other two times were free tickets and they were the VIPs! My conclusion is that VIP tickets are worthy! Though they are still too expensive to me!

我無做過 breast scan 呀......好似話要 over 45 需要做
聽講好痛 wor, 有肉地又痛, 無肉地又痛 >"<
所以我打算 hea 多幾年先

breasts check up..... 我 dr 用人手 only
smear test 有兩隻 meh??? 我無聽過呀

我 dr 就 scan 完再 take tissues
但我真係 ng 知佢幾時 take 左

因為真係 ng 痛......

Hi all,
I am thinking of buying a dust cleaningsystem. The sales person did a demo at my house last week and the machinewas pretty impressive. One of the functions of this machine does the"mattress mopping" (it has the vibrating thing attached to get the dustmites out of the inner mattress, then vacuum them out). I could see thedead bodies of the dust mites which just like pollen powder (I had goose pimples when I saw that..LOL). However, it isn't a cheap one , soI am still thinking of if it is worthy of buying.

breast scan 唔痛的,就好似我地產檢個d scans 咁, 痛個隻係mammogram,我媽媽做過, 佢都話幾痛, 係呀, 通常over 45 歲既人做既! Thanks for your advice anyway...

Thanks for the advice, 我d 醫生都係女人, 所以都冇唔好意思...hehhee....但就唔鐘意做d 咁既tests, 我覺得痛喔!

Yes I have heard about this so many times! Many sales called me about the demo but I all refused. I'm a little skeptical about this but hearing from friends they all have the same impression as you did. Is it the one over HK$10k? So far I have not checked with my friends if they finally bought it and if they had the same results when they used it themselves. How about you?

thanks for your prompt reply. Did any of your friends buy that machine? If any of them did, would you mind asking them for me about how good that machine works? Thank you!

It is on sales at the moment, it costs HKD19,980 (the original price is HKD25,480)

I have asked the sales agent to come to my house to do the demo again and have further discussion today cos' I am really interested. My kids are allergic to dust mites especially my older son who is pretty bad with dust mites. So, if I know (such as from your friends words) the machine works very well in this area, then I am seriously thinking of buying one within this week.

So, pls if you could ask someone for me. Thanks.

Finally the winter temp has finally gone away from us, hurray!

For both my body check and the O&G test, my dr is my family doctor and is a male dr as well. I guess this is the matter of trust and advice from the trustworthy guy.

之前所提果個政府婦科檢查會為50歲以上女士做夾胸檢查，或人手有懷疑先會進行，加埋抽檢子宮細胞都係$5XX。聽人人講都話好痛。我知沙田李家誠診所夾胸檢查，費用都好平。至於私家，都有D身體檢查醫務所，有時都見有廣告出。可以留意下。

係唔係理種:

新柏氏電腦超薄抹片檢查
檢體採樣的方式輿傳統抹片相同，不同的是採樣器上的細胞轉移到盛有特殊保存液的小瓶中
，採樣器上的細胞幾乎完全的保留在液體中,再利用先進的自動化儀器將細胞作成準確的超薄
抹片，這種新型抹片檢查,將準確度大幅提高，費用1500元。

好多政府部門，都推出郵寄服務。我處理事務最多係入境處，但好在有郵寄，星期六又有中心開門，所以對我黎講，完全冇麻煩。

我生bb一定要搵男醫生，所以婦科檢查冇所謂，都係搵番佢。但用人手檢查乳房就有少少唔自然，因為醫生冇戴手套，好彩佢通常好快手，按幾下既啫。
