If the repair shop is reputable and can do a good job, then ok to repair if you intend to keep the bag for longer. The longer you use the bag before selling, the more even the repair part will get with the rest of the bag. Need to make sure they really can match the color of the original thread though.

For 6-10 months, don't think I'll wait that long to fix a bag. Pretty sure I won't want it much when it comes back. Since you seem to sell older bags and get new styles than keeping them, might not be a good idea for you to wait that long for repairing.

Anyway, how did the damage happen to your cabas ah?

I was so temped to buy back another stock but I sold mine pretty late in the day, had to keep telling myself wait until next week because of the crazy rise today.

Has to have some kind of down turn on Monday before going up again. I do think there will be at least another big wave up before the real disaster comes. Hopefully can get in at a good time next week la! I need to gain some bullets ma! hehehe...

I have not applied for IPO for awhile ah... sometimes have meetings during the market open time, afraid may not be able to sell in time ah.

Do you remember how many shades of the L'OREAL foundation are available? Does it match your skin tone well and look natural?

I've been a bit busy these days, miss you so much. Indeed I've tried to send out some messages for a few attempts, but which was unsuccessful. Did you encounter any difficulties in posting in the recent few days?

Congratulations on the new car! You're right! It really takes long for getting a new car now, not only those European high-end brands, but even similar for those Japanese brands. My friend just purchased a 7-seat car from ?Toyota (sorry, not too familiar with those Japanese brand), he also had to wait for 3 months.

I also use fingers to apply liquid foundation, seems like more "natural" to do so. And...someone has taught me the way fatping1 recommended for the application, i.e. fingers first then sponge. But I don't know why I keep losing the sponges, so I gave up the techique for long.

Though I know Kalani doesn't like Japanese brand, I insisted both IPSA and Prosays' foundation are really good. GA, I know it's good, but....I'm sure no one agree with me....I don't like the "smell" of it. I know it's very subtle, but...first time I bought it was when I was pregnant, the subtle smell became kind of very strong pungent smell to me...since then, I can't tolerate it anymore. But I do like other product from GA, like the eyebrow brush. hehe...

Thanks for reminding me on the size of Miu Miu shoes. I have to admit that they're not a pair of very comfy shoes (esp with that price, I would expect more), but they're really gorgeous. The curvy heel is too attractive!!! haha..don't you think so? My shoesmaniac friend!

Congratulations on getting the khaki cabas! But I don't quite understand your damage, because cabas is supposed to be the "toughest" bag amongst all in Chanel. Can you show us how? I hope it can be repaired then.

It all depends on if you still want to keep the cabas. If yes, of course, go and get repair from the professional shop in Central la. Otherwise, "release" it ASAP.

Sams,

I also want to get the Chanel Peals Necklace ar! But last time when I went to the LG store, the one available looked too "yellow" to me, I prefer those whiter one. So, I think I will get it next time when I meet the "whiter" version. According to the SA, the tone is slightly different with different batches.

I know... I'm more on the " release it asap" side...
but I gotta find another blk bag ... perhaps this will replace my surf tote..... but I just wanna make sure I can get onebefore letting go this one... I don't wanna end up " bagless" like the past couple weeks....

yeah. I also use my fingers to apply... I've used to sponge .. and I know it's more even when using the sponge.. but somehow.. .I kept forgetting to wash the sponge after each use... so seeing a " dirty " sponge kinda turns me OFF... that's why I quit using it lor...

I guess we all have different reasons to our fingers... isn't it the best gift god gives us???!!!!

I was going to ask you out for tea today.. but I kept getting calls from my brothers, uncles, DH and moms today... each want to have lunch with me.. and they can't come together at the same time... so today, I had 6 lunches ( from 12 am-3:30).. with all these difference people at different times...and the worst was, I had lunch at 12 already.. so I couldn't eat anything when I was with them.... I just kept going to different restaurants and have tea ( only ) with them ar....:-( :-(

No problem ah. I have just window shopped today and saw different colors of patent curvey heel from Roger Vivier. The heel is kind of similar to Miu Miu's but not as tall, pretty comfy ga! I am thinking of the pair in navy patent.

Also, their loose powder is the lightest and smallest, you can try try.

Times Sq LC don't carry comestic and go to other LC la.

The pearl necklace I like is not pure pearl, they also have some silver hardware and a CC logo in between.

Arayako and Fatping,

Since I already reserved money for the downturn several weeks ago, now I also active in applying IPO. I have 3377 before and it gain 40% ar, very good.

thanks for your tips.... but I 've tried La mer before... the liquid foundation smells really strange ar.. I Bought one and used it for half a month ... even my DH told me my face smells " stinky" ar...:-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

yEah... I love love loove their loose powder.. very fine ga... I'm using is at the moment... I think it's even better than GA ....

I think most of your friends(including me) and relatives are aware that once you go back to work, you won't have sufficient time for us la..ha..ha...12 lunches a day..Oh! God! Agree ar! I've tried the navy patent leather Roger Viver too. IT's really comfy! Indeed I've also tried a pair of purple satin high heel, however, I don't know what happened to my feet or that shoes, the length of the "straps" with buckle was different between 2 shoes. And they're the only pair with my size when I tried last time, so I don't think I will pay that much with a pair of ?defective shoes lor.

And..for the patent leather curvy heel, they're really good looking, again, I felt it's too expensive for a pair of patent heel la. The reason is I am a very careless person, I've made scratches over my Miu Miu black cury heel after using once, then I brought them back for repair, it looks slightly better. Then I wore them again today very meticulously, unfortunately, it ended up with another small scratches ar...:-( :-( :-( So, I think patent heel though pretty, they're certainly not suitable for me lor. I've done the same for my other Marc Jacobs previously ga la...:-( :-( :-(

I know there is a LOREAL shop at Times Square basement, u can try the color before buying the liquie foundation... since the price is cheap, i just bought mine from Watson's counter... i use "R2"... i think the color is quite natural and match my skin tone... mind u, as this is not a super high class brand, don't blame me if it doesn't work for u ar... haa haa!

Are u still looking for jumbo classic navy patent? I read tPF someone bought this bag recently wor, u might want to check with your SA... The price is $2350...

You tried that navy patent curvy heel at Vivier too??! It looked so pretty and comfy. But I don't understand why the one with same style but low heel (about an inch) costs so much less, only $1700 or something like that!

You and me are so much alike in scratching shoes! hahhahaa..... I always damage heels of my shoes, patent or not. Many of them got damages after 1 use.

ops:" /> I had a pair of red patent MJ that I loved so much having scratches, nicks and even pieces of leather got scraped off! I blame that on my big feet, which make it much easier getting scratches going up/down stairs; also is the stupid streets in HK. Always having cracks, holes and being unevening out of no where!

As my DH had bought a new TV last week to put on his desk, he is playing video game now using the new TV, it is his favorite hobby, changing electronic stuffs at home which i never care....

so i am surfing net before heading to bed law.. heehee! How about u? also late wor...

In these few weeks, i am using my jumbo classic caviar black, jumbo black with MM lock & bijoux chain and the gold LM flap...i don't have any target now ar, may be the jumbo patent black or navy blue, but i got so many jumbos and they all look the same, so i SHOULD NOT buy another one lar..

i still haven't used any of the 2.55 reissues yet... don't know why, not wanna to use them ar...

I do believe some products from these big but inexpensive name brands are good ga! The only thing I worry is that most of the time they don't have samples for trying or too little color to choose from. I will definitely go check it out at Time Square later. Thanks thanks!

Read from the PF too about navy patent flap too, and one of the PFers said the SA told her that there were only 8 jumbos of navy patent flap left in the whole company. 蠢蠢欲動架! But I really want it in new chain and cc lock... I know that it is not something that will be release the coming season, but I don't want to buy too many classics with the same reason that you have ah. Although not having as many classics and reissues as you do, I do think that they look much alike. If I buy the navy patent flap with regular chain, I won't be buying the one with new chain when they have it in the future woh. Have to be very careful now on choosing what classic to buy.

Good for you to use many of the classics that you have!!! Don't want to use the reissues? Hmmm... because they are too pretty and you don't wanna scratch them?
