i only held up a mini party at her school on an earlier day then on the exact day was sat, so we went to beach and had dinner at a resturant with a playground lor, not much special ja!

sigh...我吾駛佢孝順我, 佢病少d我巳經好開心了!

hey, how do u enjoy being SAHM (stay at home mom) now? do u have a regular routine to teach him daily?

一定要花很多錢去接受蒙特梭利的洗禮,孩子才會獨立,才會聰明嗎?媽媽心中起了很多問號.....那窮人家的孩子,不就注定沒有出頭天了?為此媽媽找出相關書籍,並上網做功課,歸納一些心得如下:

蒙特俊利教育的十大特點

1.以兒童為中心
反對以成人為本位的教學觀點，視兒童為與成人有別的獨立個體，有如毛毛蟲和蝴蝶在型態上是不一樣的。

2.不「教」的教育 (=>有做到70-80%,因為我還是有說教)
六歲以前的幼兒還沒有認知，辨異的能力，不適合說教的教育。因此蒙特俊利教學反以教師為中心的填鴨教學，主張由日常生活訓練著手，再配合良好的學習環境、豐富的教具，讓兒童自發性的主動學習，自我教育。

3. 掌握兒童敏感期 (=>這點我家是憑媽媽的直覺去做的)
0~6歲的幼兒隨著成長，會出現特定的喜好傾向，若在此敏感期學習該喜好傾向，即可得到最人的學習效果。蒙特俊利教學特別強調此一特性，掌握兒童最佳的學習良機。
4.教師扮演協助、啟導的角色 (=>由媽媽自己來當老師,更敏銳喔!)
教師的工作是觀察兒童的內心需要，為他們設計環境，並示範教具的操作，再依兒童的個別差異因才施教，提供適時的引導。這種不教的教育能使師生關係和諧，兒童自然能愉快學習。 (問: 如果去蒙式學校,一班這麼多人,老師如何一個個適時指導阿?很懷疑學校裏如何做到這點?我針對2隻熊要因材施教就已經忙不完了!)

5.重視智慧和品格的養成 (=>這點是特別重視)
幼兒教育的本質與意義是在幫助幼兒的生命完美成長。因此蒙特梭利極力主張幼兒教育的目的並不是為入小學做準備，而是為他們的一生奠定智慧和品德的基礎，培養終身學習的好習性。

6.尊重兒童的成長步調(=>這點有待努力)
蒙特俊利教學沒有課表，不劃分上、下課時間，讓兒童循著內在的需求，自由地專心工作。蒙特俊利認為孩子的「專心時刻」如果被打斷，會養成虎頭蛇尾的草率習性。反之，這種經重複練習而延作時間，則能培養孩子重要的好習性—專心和耐力。

7.混齡教學 (哈哈...有,因為我家有2隻熊!)
不同年齡的兒童會彼此模仿、互相學習，並養成兄友弟恭，樂於助人的良好社會行為。

8.豐富的教材與教具 (=>豐富的自然環境和農忙工具--這些我門有,而沒有人工教具)
近四百種的教具是蒙特俊利教學的一大特色。這些教具並非是教師用來教學的「教」具，而是兒童工作作的材料，主要是在誘發兒童由淺入深的自我重複練習，達到自我教育的目的。

9.摒除獎懲制度 (沒有!這點真的做不到--會獎也會罰!)
蒙特梭利經長期的觀察，發現兒童對獎懲並不在乎。傳統的獎懲制度是成人控兒童的一種手段:蒙特梭利教學則尊重兒童的選擇，讓兒童有自動自發的學習意願與需求

10.注重日常生活教育及感官教育
日常生活教育是蒙特梭利環境裡，最早介紹給孩子的工作，它包括基本動作、生活禮儀、小肌肉發展訓練、動作的控制、照顧自己、以及照顧環境等等項目，都與我們的生活息息相關。主要目的在訓練幼兒肢體動作的協調能力，使其適應環境，奠定獨立生活的基礎，並培養孩子的耐心與注意力、手眼協調及互助、愛物的好習性。

感官教育指的是感官能力的培養，包括視覺、聽覺、嗅覺、味覺、觸覺及立體觸覺等，若能在零到六歲感官的敏感期提昇其敏感度，對以後的學習將產生非常大的影響。例如音感的培養，一定要趁早進行，若錯過了聽覺的敏感期，等到長大才要矯正五音不全或發音不標準的毛病，可能就會事倍功半了。

看到這裡還有相欣慰.....雖然之前沒錢讓小熊去蒙特梭利幼稚園,而是去一般的Pre-school半天,半天自己敎,並叫他幫忙照顧弟弟和做些園藝及農忙...但是也與蒙式教育的理念殊途同歸.其實自己在家就可以實踐蒙特梭利教育吧?

8月,要不要讓小熊去蒙特梭利的那一班?現在比較不會那麼焦慮與未知了,這幾個月慢慢決定吧?

當全職媽媽好像還是有用的~雖然犧牲了自己的事業和賺錢的機會,但是教育自己可以把關!

今個假期又放完喇！我地一家三口去左好多地方玩呀，不過今日經過天后廟，入去求左支簽，點知話我如果想生會係男仔，真係多謝夾唔該，祝我學業進步好過啦(因為呢個月要考三個試呀)！

thanks a lot for yesterday party, the ball ball pool is wonderful !
after the party we brought H to see the ships and boats and fishing people. he was so excited to see the "giant cargo ship" and the very fast "speedboat".
when i asked him whether he is still scared of balloons/balls, he said "hmm, the small ball ball pool is fun, and the big ball ball pool is not ok, but i like the "ladder" (inside the big ball ball pool) a lot.
thank you soooooooo much ! it seems that his fear of balloons is a bit reduced now.

You are welcome la. Wing Fung was also very excited that I've never seen before, I took one hr to make him to calm down and sleep at nite. In the mid-nite, my maid told me that he cried and laughed many times while sleeping.

All,
Recently, I've done several small experiments with Wing Fung. He is very interested at them, see whether your kid likes it !
1) Dissolve solid into water (or other liquid like vinegar)
- Put sugar in Water [water soluble]
- Put salt in water [water soluble]
- Put cornflour in water [water soluble]
- Put peanut in water [water insoluble]
- put sesame in water [water insoluble]
=> You can also let them try the taste of ingredients before putting them in water

2) Mix 2 different liquids
- Mix Vinegar with water [soluble]
- mix oil with water [insoluble]
- mix soya sauce with water [soluble]
- mix vinegar with soya sauce [soluble]

3) Effect when mixing soda with acid/citrus
- Put soda powder in water, no bubbles come out
- Put soda powder in vinegar, bubbles come out
- Put soda powder in lemon juice, bubbles come out

Remember, don't do it for him OR show to him. Let him to mix and put by himself.

you know how i protect yours and babytang's toys?
in order to distract him 虎視眈眈 from yours, i sacrified myself ! i opened my whole box of toys and all displayed on the floor, and once this morning he waked up, he looked at the toys with saliva drooping down from the mouth angle

he shouted "wow wow wow" as if discovering a treasure !
finally he did not pay attention to your box and tang's bages of toys at all !
the DVD are wonderful, esp the 1-3 yr old one, must watch !

i have got some ideas from the montessori DVD and books --- to share:
i have planted some flowers and small small young "trees" recently, and let the kid to smell it, it seems he likes it . inc the lime, mango, cinemon, roses, peppermint, etc. All may be planted in pots as small as 5 inch diameter.
then i let child to water it, sweep the floor, and pick the peppermint for cooking !

Wing Fung is fine. Daddy said he was also getting better on running nose, only still had a bit sore throat.
I watched the 'water battle' video, just the beginning part, not the most exciting and crazy part....
