要止痕, prescription Benadyl pills 係好好, 但會眼瞓..
local cream 可以用Benadyl cream..
但最好問e生..
暖水bath Helps a lot.. 去冷卻毛孔
老人家suggest 片糖bath, works pretty well in many case!!

for pain, 唔好食tylenol, motrin 對你會work effective啲..
as佢係NSAIDs.. 你有冇aspirin allergy???

Herpes zoster, colloquially known as shingles, is the reactivation of varicella zoster virus, or VZV. The virus, one of the Herpesviridae group, leads to a group of painful blisters over the area of a dermatome.
After an attack of chicken pox, the varicella-zoster virus retreats to nerve cells within the ganglion or the spinal cord, where it lies dormant for several months up to several decades.Aging, stress, or disease cause the virus to reactivate and reproduce, at which point it is called "herpes zoster". The herpes zoster travels along the path of a nerve to the skin's surface, where it causes shingles.
The earliest symptoms (constituting the prodrome) of shingles include headache, sensitivity to light, fever, and malaise, all of which may be followed by itching, tingling, and pain within one to seven days. The pain may be extreme in the affected nerve, where the rash will later develop, and can be characterized as stinging, tingling, aching, numbing, or throbbing, and can be pronounced with quick stabs of intensity. During this phase, herpes zoster is frequently misdiagnosed as other diseases with similar symptoms, including heart attacks and renal colic. Some patients may have these symptoms without developing the characteristic rash. This situation, known as "zoster sine herpete," can delay diagnosis and treatment.
Shingles cannot be passed from one person to another. However, the virus that causes shingles, VZV, can be spread from a person with active shingles to a person who has no immunity to the virus by direct contact with the rash, while in the blister phase. The person exposed would then develop chicken pox, not shingles. The virus is not spread through airborne transmission, such as sneezing or coughing. Once the rash has developed crusts, the person is no longer contagious. A person is not infectious before blisters appear or with post-herpetic neuralgia (pain after the rash is gone).
Shingles can only arise in individuals who have been previously exposed to chicken pox (varicella zoster). The disease arises from various events which depress the immune system, such as aging, severe emotional stress, severe illness, immunosuppression or long-term use of corticosteroids.[6][7] The cellular and immunological events that lead to reactivation are poorly understood.[8] There have been recorded cases of outbreaks occurring due to unmanaged stress or other stresses to the skin such as pinching, biting or scratching of more sensitive areas, such as nipples, ears, and underarms.

我日曰喺 Lutheran medical center 放工放3:30pm..
今日我收張罰單話我11/15/07今日 14:15 (2:15pm) 喺staten island 我屋企出面冇停stop sign..
大哥.. 要抄我牌都睇我係咪放咗工仲喺嗰頭至得架.... plead gulity... no way.. 我一見到罰單就call 311 file complaint...
tomorrow 又要我返去揾supervisor 証明我上緊orientation, 喺classroom 飯氣功心, "恰"緊眼瞓... 真麻煩...

唔知因我係1st monther, 好多野都好緊張呀. 所以返工時時時都做錯野. 好怕遲d會比人炒呀...

zoey依家3個半月, 重15lb (出世時8lb11oz), 唔知係咪重得慢. Last week, 佢壓奶呀, 每餐食夠3oz佢就係度玩, 唔食. 要等1/2 hour後再餵先食完5oz.

我明天想帶佢去抽血驗G6PD(蠶豆病), 因usa係無幫一出世的bb驗. 所以想同zoey驗, 但我又怕佢痛, 所以都心大心細.

About G6PD, 你有冇問US 個peds 去攞番new born screen個result ?你出院時, 姑娘一定有俾1張粉紅色長方形收據, 寫住係 new born screen, reault only obtain by infant's pediatrician.
If 你家族有遺存.. 你OB巳notified 你labor嗰間醫院, 做extra 抽血架.
要知BB有冇in born 病, 只要交個張紙俾peds, clinic啲nurse 就會call 中心, 去release information, 留copy俾你BB個peds... 係一目了研(oops... 錯別字)..
now.. as BB巳返HK.. 只有再做過... BUT 你家族有人有G6PD嗎?
你知唔知G6PD係只有男仔至會病發, BB女只會有隱性因子.. 係唔會病發.. 你係咪一定要帶BB出驗G6PD??
