The typhoon season in Hong Kong run from April to
October.Typhoons occasionally hit Hong Kong and may caused flooding
and landslides. When typhoon signal No.8 are hoisted, all the shops
are closed.
Most of the shopkeeper are honest. However, some
tourists has been overcharged for the things they buy. You should
shopping around for prices before you buy anything. There is not much
violent crime and there is pickpocketing. You should take extra care
for passports, credit cards and money in crowded areas.You should
be careless with your belongings when checking out of hotels.
