1. How do you book your hotels? Directly through the hotel website or say www.jalan.net? In particular, I want to book Mahoroba but it seems full!

Toyoko Inn and Mahoroba were booked through the hotel website. Mahoroba is full??? Which date do you want?

Yes, same concern. So, I choose to drive and play in my own schedule :wink: But, I guess you can take one way free shuttle and sacrify the other way to play around.

我地打算租兩架車呀．．．因為我地連ｂｂ有八個，ｂｂ又一定要坐carseat，加埋行李我驚唔夠位．．．舊年我聽勇者的講座佢話佢試過要用埋spare 呔中間個空位來放野．．．而且我老公格過價，兩部細車的價錢同一部八人車的價錢差唔多．．．仲有佢話toyota係貴ｄ架，你現在減咗幾多錢一日呢？

係呀! toyota 係貴d. 我book 了 alpha (3000cc) 7日, 要174,825yen (包括保險, carseat 及 tax), 不過就冇俾discount我. :cry:

另外, 上網check過 tacoo 架 elgrand (3500cc) 大約就要 133,000yen, 平過toyota.

所以, if toyota 有八折, 就會和tacoo 租車價差唔多錢, 另外, 油錢因alpha車c.c. 細過 elgrand 而平左. 不過, 如果真係冇discount, 就會改租elgrand架車.

(因為我地依家5大2小, 得我老公渣車, 所以一定要八人大車先可以放到d行李.)

另外, 由富良野(上午九時出發)經夕張返新札幌, 計算約下午三點還車, 夠唔夠時間呢?

Thanks for your sharing. I've been struggling with my itinerary thru out the weekend. My biggest constraint is room availability. Since the pensions in Furano/Biei are so full, I can't move about much!

For those of you who stay at 旭川, where will do go? Does anyone plan to go to 北瀧丁? Transportation is quite inconvenient though & not so sure whether the sunflowers will bloom then or not.

About cherry picking, do most of you go to 小樽 or 富良野? Sorry for so many questions.

住登別石水亭, 價錢好似差不多, 但我見佢包熊牧場, 和海洋世界既ticket, 夾埋都成4xxx yen 一個大人架

而且, 小朋友只收888yen, 我囡囡6歲, 間間都收50%大人價, 佢仲要食好少野tim 架 :evil: , 所以咪覺得石水亭好似好抵下咁囉

I'll stay in Toyoko Inn Asahikawa. For 北瀧丁, I may go there if the sunflowers bloom already when I return spp from Asahikawa. I think I will check with the info centre 1st b4 going. Since I'll drive throughout the journey (except spp), I've no constraint in transportations. :wink:

For cherry picking, I'll choose 洞爺 or 美瑛. Last choice, 余市 if there is not enough time in the first 7 days. I'll go there when I go to 小樽 :wink:

你說BB一定要CAR SEAT，BB定義是幾多歲就一定要用呀?我現在剛剛好8人，其中2個小孩5歲多，我不想用CAR SEAT，而行李只帶部份上車，其餘留SAPP 酒店，因之後會再返同一間酒店住，我們不想分2架車，因為覺得無咁好玩!

Do you have a draft schedule? How many people are there in your trip? Last week I still can find many replies from pensions in Furano/Biei that have vacancies on 27-28/7... Do you need some informations?

For 北瀧丁, I don't think it is worth to go... it takes over 5 hours for a round trip and there are many huge sunflower fields around the area Bibi/洞爺...Last year I went 北瀧丁 on 26/7, the sunflowers were not yet bloom... so I really felt disappointed and wasted a lot of time...

For cherry picking, you can do it in 洞爺...just depends on your schedule... If you travel by car, then you can have a more flexible planning...
