the YMCA one you introduced sounds good. i may join the Funland part. for the Speech-training part, it states that it is for 4yr and up. so unfit for our kids?
our school has organised a summer program for students, not expensive, ~$100-120 per hour. however now i am not sure to stay or not, so..................
tutor time just sent me their summer programme, sounds good too.
i have checked yew chung last year programme, seems okay too.
btw, i am looking for mandarin and english NS. Interested?
moreover, a music center will send me their summer programme for percussion course next monday. so i will leave the decision till then.

The Speech has one for 3-4Yr also.
YALC has new pamplets, but I rcv one copy, I take another one for u in coming Sat.
My planning is :
English - Funland, YMCA (Sat)
Mandarin - short class organized by my home's estate office
Speech - YMCA (Sat)
Swimming - YMCA
Art & General - daily half day class near my home
Martial Art - YALC

yes, he loves it.
we named it :silver angel (銀天使). as it is shinny silver in color.
he rides just once downstairs (sunday when daddy is helping to carry the bike) but almost every morning and night at home.
now he can turn quite well, but still a bit difficult with the "stop" mode.
he cares the bike well, no longer eating or drinking on it, as i told him: if you drop the food/milk on your silver angel, the ants will come and bite it, then it will break down. you know how "scared" he is for anymore toys breaking down and calling for the collector for "recycling" !
I am very tired these few days, busy calling the school and arranging the interviews and site visit.
today i went to the St Johannes and Stafford already.
sigh, if the HKPS is not moving, i certainly will not try them................ :cry:

acc to the speaker: it should not be a reward (gift) for good behaviours/exam results etc, in exchange of sth.

is it a "need" or a "want" to a kid, for a bike?
what is the cut off point?
How to self-reward? and until when that the kid no longer need this kind of reinforcement/reward system?
by age? by maturity? by the behaviour nature?
headache.
the sticker system seems not very working for us, as he does not really "care" much abt having sticker or not.
when taking away the toys, it seems just increase much his anxiety and behavior worsens.
any idea? or ??

In fact, I do not fully agree with the speaker on the no reward approach. I would rather agree with 3P approach that the reward should NOT be materialized....an family activity or leisure time can be a good reward to kid. But until when, I can't tell. Though 3P suggests us to prolong the period required to give the reward until it becomes habit....however, I cannot see that it will become a habit within short period.
by the way, is it very expensive to park the car at disney hotel and only few parking space by the lakeside? i have heard that it is > $50 per hour ! if parking for whole day, is it better to call a taxi for the trip?
how much is the buffet?
