nic,

my hubby had the shingle abt 4 yrs ago when our son was only 3 months old. for the itchyness, i think it lasted for at least a week (depends on how big that area is), and it might have taken him at least 2 weeks to completely recovered.

did u ask the doctor if it's ok for u to put on the Calamine (spelling) lotion - 熱費水? is it ok to take the oral form of Benadryl to help u get better sleep as the oral form is more effective than the topical form?
can u take the Enchineacea (american herbal supplement) to boost up yr immune system to help u get better soon? but at least u should be able to take large dose of vitamin C.
more importantly, u need to rest more. otherwise, if yr immune system is not strong enough, i heard that the shingle area might get expanded.

, I never have a shingle before but did have chickenpox when I was a kid, but when I did the blood test at my earlier pregency, it showed that I don't have the immune on my body, so I might need to take a vaccine later after my BB born......

Hi jstn,

I took my daughter to all three studio to took pictures. The first one we did was Kiddie Kandid at Babies R Us when she was 3 months old. We were only be able to have three very nice pose of her because she is too young, and not much pose can be done on her. Then we went to JC Penny when she was 9 months, this time we have 6 nice pose pictures. The last one was Sears Portrait Studio, which was few weeks ago, we got about 10 very nice pictures.

FYI, if you want to buy the CD at each studio, they will ask you to buy one of the portrait package, which is from $139 and up with 8 to 10 portrait sheets included.
I brought a package everytime because i want to have the CD to do more with her pictures. If you dont want the CD, each portrait sheet is $12.99 at Kiddie Kandid and $7.99 at JCPenny & Sears.

唔係架..有架有架..我bro in law都收到過啦..有時無啦啦話個parking時間改左呀..其實冇改到呀.又有話佢沖red light呀..parking比人抄都好慘架..所以佢地話成日都要帶住架camera影相..

sounds like that medicine is working ...
looks like the medicine's name ends with "clovir" is for the Herpes Zoster (spelling?) type of virus.

u're smart that u went to see doctor right away. my hubby didn't see the doctor until at least a few days later when it got worse. my 99 who was a nurse and staying with us at that time. she tried to help taking care of it and always said "just keep observing for a few days". she didn't think of it as a shingle at the beginning, as she said usually the older people or those with immune system deficiency would have it.
however, my sis-in-law also got that after she gave birth to her first baby. but she knew that it's shingle at the very beginning and asked the nanny to take full care of her bb, so her bb was fine and didn't get chicken-pox as my son did.
thinking back abt it, i was pretty upset. my 99 didn't want me to tell the others that our son got the herpes zoster virus from my hubby, when people asked why he got chicken-pox at 3-months-old. she thought people might blame her that she didn't find out my hubby had shingle although she's a nurse.

Can't compare to HK gar lar, after I saw nat nat's studio pic in HK, I think I will bring my BB to take one in HK in the future, but in the mean time, rather then nothing mar...... :-P

babiesrus 啲background 靚好多, walmart嘅就係街市貨色..
price 就差好遠..
babiesrus 買service, 靚影, 相嘅outcome 好靚.. 但好貴
walmart, the last time有啲"趕收工"嘅feeling.. {之前3次都好好}.. price 係reasonable. USD$30-40有交易..
ready depends.. Amanda BB時, 我只去babiesrus.. 大啲識坐, 我至敢俾佢出去影!
