at nursey, there are 4 teachers looking after about 21 children.they had an accident record for me to sign.

his wound is quite deep, he said it is hurt all the time! poor little boy!
at nursey, he didn't let anyone to see his wound, just covered his neck by his hand and keep saying he was o.k. but after few minutes we went home, he was clam down and begin to say hurt and let me see the wound.he didn't tell the teacher straight away, because his english isn't good.so he didn't think they could help him.

thank you, but he is still keep saying hurt. i hope after this accident, he knows that he should tell his teachers straight away if something was happened.
he always want to solve problems by himself,but after that ,i hope he knows that he is still too young and he should asks for help :-|

You must tell Trover that he must talk to his teacher everything in the Nursery. My twins' English are not good, too. Sometime they also talk to their teacher in Cantonese ga.

wow, you lived in 銅鑼灣??? Maybe we were 鄰居 wor?! Do you like to live in 'Tung Lo Wan'? I think it is not very convenient lor, normally if i took train, I would walk to Tai Wai station. If I went to new town plaza, I would walk, too. And at night, it is very quiet there, I felt very unsafe to go home at night.
Did you go to school/Uni in London? How many years u lived in Colindale?

How is Trevor now? Is he okay? If this happened to my little girl, I will be very angry, too. I think the teacher at least should know how it happened, if they didn't know, it means they didn't watch the teacher well enough lor. Yesterday, my daughter went home from nursery with all mud on her trousers, shoes & her coat, I was a bit angry, too. Did you talk to the teacher about this? I think you should tell the teacher about this and show them u are not very happy about this.
My daughter's English is very poor as well, the teacher said she will speak chinese to them but they don't understand what she is talking about lor. ?-(

No ar, if sunny day, I will let them play outside law( they like jump and play football, or take them out to Library and Safeway walk around and play the Barney moblie game law.(that one 1 pound for play three times)

If rainy day, just stay at home and play themselves, watch TV or listen music. But my husband will be day off on Tuesday and Wednesday, so we go out law. On Tuesday, we will be go out in the morning, my huuband take out car to do MOT. On Wednesday, my husband has an appoinment to go to Police Station and see his blood result. One night, he was back at 1:30, and suddenly,two police checked him and asked him, "did he drink beer and how much?" He drank three pints, so police caught him to station, and checked him in there. He stayed in there a night and left and 8:00. He always drunk beer, when he stayed in Take-away prepare thing for next day.(his day-off) Unfortunely, that night he was very bad lucky.

Trevor speaks only simple sentences at nursey. he could tell somebody hurt him, but cannot explain the whole thing.i start speak more english to him at home, and encourage him to speak more english.

it is half-term again! i don't know where to take them to as it is so windy again!! somtimes rainning as well

Yeah before that happened, I told to my husband do not drink too much beer, but he doesn't heard me. After that, he worried that la, ha ha ha.

My twins' Speech Therapist told me, that I just talk to my girls Cantonese at home, and they will improve their English when they are in Preschool. I usually stay at preschool for help, I see my girls and their English also very poor, but their teacher try to understand what do they speak ga. You may talk to your Health Visitor for some advice.

I'm sorry about what happened to Trevor. I think this is more serious than the physical hurt. I saw a TV programme, it showed that when children went to a strange environment (such as change schools), they’ll feel lonely and loss their confidence. Maybe your son needs to have more self recognition. He may feel sad about he can’t do as well as other kids (language problems). Would it be possible that trying to encourage him by praising his improvement (even though a little bit improvement)? Sorry that I’m not an expert of children, this is only my personal opinion. I hope Trevor adapts the new environment shortly.
