為慶祝香港回歸祖國十周年，香港科學館 今日起舉辦恐龍化石展覽，預料有二十萬人入場。

展品包括早在寒武紀在海洋中生活的原始生物、最早期的胎盤類哺乳動物及開花植物，以至最終演化為鳥類的羽毛恐龍。其中，以在中國北部遼寧出土的熱河生物群的化石最為獨特珍貴。

據悉，約在一億二千萬年前白堊紀早期，氣候和暖，滿布湖畔河流，史前動植物生長繁茂，欣欣向榮，直至突如其來的火山爆發。這些動物即使帶羽毛的恐龍和古代鳥類都未及拍翼高飛逃避，當場喪生於纖細的火山灰中，掩埋至今。到九十年代初期帶羽毛的恐龍化石在遼寧出土，舉世矚目，頓成科研焦點。

另一批珍貴的化石是在雲南澄江發現的寒武紀澄江生物群，被譽為二十世紀最驚人的科學發現之一，它展示了五億二千年至五億一千五百年前軟體物種的盛況。

其他珍貴展品還包括從未在香港展出的化石，如華美金鳳鳥、顧氏小盜龍，它們是現代鳥類的遠祖，亦有身高九米，在戈壁沙漠發現的查干諾爾龍，及目前發現體形最大，身長九米的松花江猛

大家好嗎﹖我見好多媽咪都唔得閒上黎講野﹖大家最近點呢﹖
我唔係幾好呀，因為同阿囝報左一間近屋企o既學校，點知佢五月中話我知佢地要close，所以我要同佢再搵學校，咁遲先講，好多都話冇位，真係激死人呀 ，依家只係等6月通知有冇位，真係要聽天由命呀！

how come it sounds so much like my son's situation?

which kinder is it?

my son's one has to move (not be closed, but will change both the site and the school name) quite far away, so i "enjoyed" this kind of "search and apply and wait" game for 1 whole month already!!
which district are you in? which kinder you want to apply?

as i have tried quite a lot of kinders this month, i know some of them still have vacancy.

pm me if you want these kinders' names.

4. visit to abulance depot in ho man tin 25/8/07 2-5pm
5. visit to endangered species resource centre 30/8/07 1-530pm.

Oh ! Understand lor...don't be panic, choose a good school for your kid...I think most school will be vacant later. Because many people reserve more than 1 school.

I don't know if one day is enough for all the shows and whether the two days programme are the same.
may be going on both sat and sun?
i think the kids will get very excited if taking a photo with the real uniformed/armed team, and double excited if getting onto a fire-engine or police boat to visit !!

Please help me to register for 20/7 Ambulance Depot visit. How much does it cost (One child + 2 adults)? I will take a half-day leave, I don't want to miss this special event !
