I like your description. Well if we have had our kids earlier, maybe I'll push for having 4 too...too late now lah!
And we need to start planning for no.1's high school situation.....we would like him to go to Australia to finish his high school too, but just can't stand separating from him....and we cannot move back now. The 2 littles are still very young and we do want them to learn Chinese here.
Anyone here having kids studying at international schools? I'm looking at Renaisance and likely AIS....Redpocket is one of yours there too?
My younger son is studying in year 11 in South Island School (SIS). He had studied at local school till Form 2 and was swift to change to SIS for studying in year 10.
Have you applied the place at RCyet? Its location is quite far away from my place. I keep looking at RC for my little girl for her high school too. But SIS is being put on the first piority.
And then of course sending the kids overseas is a lot of $$ too! Having siblings at home is great, so separating them will mean losing some time for them to spend together. I only recently was thinking that I also lost the time with my own sister, as after teenage either i was overseas and then she was. When we touched base again, it was when all of us were moms. When we see the kids play together, it's just so rewarding! By the way, best wishes to "becoming 4-kid mom" Alice! I envy you lah!!!
No.1 will attend their test next Monday. Oh, it will be improvising, as we have not been keeping his English up apart from the weekly drama class. He's easily the top in his class at P5 (because local school) but very far from international school standard. I'm quite worried. And because we live in Shatin, RC seems to be a good choice. Do you live on HK Island?
On the other hand, our target is really AIS...but they said the classes are full at the moment and they will need him to go through written and oral tests too......
