I have a problem with my siu b.
She doesnt sleep by herself at daytime.
She only sleeps when I hold her.
If I dont hold her, she will cry & doesnt sleep for the whole day (from 8am to 8pm).
She does sleep by herself at nite.
What can I do to help her?
I can hold her to sleep but I dont think it is good for her.
I also think that she is overtired so she doesnt breastfeed well enough in daytime.
Please give me some advice!!!!

How 's your siu b? he can sleep whole nite after breadfeed him? What is his weight now?

You also take more rest and have a good 'sit moon' ar. Do you drink 28sets herbal everyday? I'm also waiting for my little b to this world, however, i have little blue these few days, always cry at home without reasons.

係好事喎.. 細妹學識分日夜喇.. 慶幸佢係日頭起身夜晚瞓..
你有冇買bouncer/BB千秋? 可以試一試..
also, check吓B女瞓嘅環境, 日頭同夜晚係咪有好大差別???
B女係咪全人奶BB? 有冇補formula??

我而家左邊胸有5-6oz奶但右邊只有2oz.. 好怕大細胸... 但no matter 我多餵右邊都冇乜起色.. 唯有順其自然...

Gabriel一晚醒2次左右.. 一覺瞓2-3粒鐘.. 都ok la..
佢出世時7lb 13.2oz, 出院得番7lb 6oz, 一星期大follow up 有8lb 12oz.. 減番啲衫同diaper, 大慨有8lbs左右喇..
我日日都有飲產後28方.. 味道ok la.. 比五花茶苦但易入口過廿四味好多!!
你要放鬆啲.. 你都想BB笑住嚟呢個世界架 o麻!!

Thanks for your help!!
My hubby also said that it is good that she wakes up in daytime.
I will try to comfort her and put her to sleep.
If she doesnt want to sleep, I will hold her for a while.
I have a rocker at home and she sleeps on it but just for a while (15 mins max).
I use it when my arms are sore.
I will try to ask for help from my midwife again.
We have community midwife here who will come to our homes to help us.
I can also go to family centre to learn as well (last resource).

You are doing very very well!!
I dont think I have 5-6oz milk one side or even both side.
I think siu b is still taking about 3 to 4 oz each feed.
I expressed 3 oz milk and fed her from a bottle a few days ago.
She didnt know how to drink from a bottle but did manage to finish the 3 oz.
She didnt cry after that so I think she was enough.
Well, she is 全人奶BB so I have to let her decide.
I m not too worried about her sleeping routine as she's still young.
I will do more when she is a bit older.
I just want to establish a good habit for her.

Look foward to seeing your boy's fresh photos soon. Yes, lot of admissions (or family concession) are for family memeber of 4 (parents + 2 kids)... We are family of five..so sometimes we have to pay a bit extra.

guys,
What can I do for my baby since there are mucus on his throat and nose (not in his lungs). I can hear the movement of the mucus but just don't know how to get rid of it. This situation comes and goes for a very long time.

要清痰就先要清鼻水, otherwise, 只係頭痛醫頭, 腳痛醫脚..
1.有冇cool mist (no white mist) humidifer??? 冇就為小B睡房放一部.. 買要換filter嗰種.. ultrasound機冇用架!
2. 用nasal spray 滴鼻, 左右nose 各1-2滴.. 之後等鼻水/鼻涕夠 moist之後吸出(用BB嗰啲吸鼻器)
3. 足夠水份intake
4. 留意係咪有寵物毛, 塵, 花草 etc嘅過敏原 bother到小B..
一清咗, 冇鼻水, 冇nasal dripping, 小B就冇痰架喇

Dear Nillie

I also feel that my right breast is bigger & heavier than left.
My right breast leaks every nite & when I feed left breast.
I m also taking DHA supplement (fish oil) from Nature's First (NZ).
I also take multi vit & formula powder for breastfeeding mums (coz I cant or no time to eat much).
I have got enough milk so far but siu b seems to suck not as good as before (a bit sore nipples).
She also has got quite a lot of wind (even I burp her for 10 mins each side).
I will go to see my lactation consultant next week.

Nillie,

My siu b's jaundice still hasnt got yet.
I m worried that she might have problems like G6PD.
I will take her to do a checkup tomorrow and hope that she doesnt need to do a blood test (very painful).
Gabriel is very handsome and big (as big as my 6 weeks old).
Well done!!!!

OK la~but she will hard cry, if I breastfeed her, so I must pump my breast milk out to feed her lor...........I can only pump 2 oz from each side.........Kiyomi in Japanese is called 清美~~~
