yeah sometime people are like that...
usually the are lack of confidence when they try to show off and being unfriendly. u should feel sorry for them..

they decided not to come this year. they came last year and we went to Italy.
I think they rather travel to china than europe as they don't like the food here and the language too..
if they are not coming, we will not go to swiss and germany as we been to there alreayd.

need to discuss with my hubby on what the plan is..
perhap join my friend for a hiking trip, or go to Iceland..

I think all hubby is the same. they all 無心機 spend time shopping with us.

but I had to pay a lots of attention if we go shopping for his stuff. I spent more than an hr 2 weeks ago just to buy a jumper for him..

so unfair :-( :-(

I don;t like go shopping alone lei.
very boring ga..

last time my friend accompany me to shop for my b'day present (a boots) its was such a joyful time to go shopping with a gf...

My hb and I went to the Japan centre yestarday.
The things are much cheaper than oriental city and we found the nigata rice.

We also had our lunch in the sushi cafe. The udon was good but sushi and rice are not so good.

Hi 校長,

You need to check if you need to pay overseas fee if your kid hasn't lived here more than 3 years before going to school.

My hb was born here and grown up here. He went back to Hong Kong 6 years ago. He came to study his master last year and he needed to pay overseas fee. The reason was he has left the country for more than 3 years.

I went to St thomas this morning to enquire the private birth care.

The price has gone double. My friend gave birth there end 2005 and it costs her around 4,000 pounds for c-section.

The price list they gave me today is min at 8,000 pounds for normal delivery + all scan and blood test fee. :-( :-( :-(

It's much more expensive than in HK

Yes, very expensive. If you are planning to have a baby, better choose a not busy hospital. London is a not a good option.

I'm afraid of the early discharge or not having enough room when I need to give birth... so I'm looking for a private room. But the problem is they don't just give you a private room. They need me to employ their private service as well.

But after talked to kitchu and other mums, it makes me few much better on public.

If it's only 4000, we would go for private. But it's double, need to reconsider it......

The receptionist told me that they used to mix nhs and private so that price is cheaper. But now, they no longer mix nhs and private.

BChingma used the private service 3-4 years ago and she told me it costed her around 3000 +

How are you feeling today? I went to scan this morning and the dr told me that my baby is small :-( :-( only 706g. It should be around 2 pounds :-( :-(

I never though about private as my hubby is only a poor Engineer. we would rather use the money to pay off the mortgage and reduce the amount of interest we need to pay..

also I don't live in london, so should be fine..
