Nillie, OET is Occupational English Test for those who work in medical field. It's similar to IELTS. Also needs to test 4 subtests, however, my sister tells me that IELTS is more difficult than OET. ...
Nillie, the preparation course really help? Do you mean the course in HK? Then i'll try to attend and hope that i can get good result. Because i know even i can register in NBV, i still have to get the IELTS for immigration dept. if i want to emigrate to aussie.
Linda,
I did not take the one in HK, I took the preparation course in Sydney, University of Sydney and also from UNSW at the same time.
IELTS for migration, just the general one, for overseas studies is acedemic one. that is 2 different level.
I guess at the Bristish Association (something like that) will provide the IELTS course in HK

Elder daughter almost 6, will attend Primary school First Grade.
Younger son is 2.5, still in day care and will stay at the same day care until 5 years old. day care open 7am to 7pm. flexible that you can pick up at anytime.
Amanda... school from 8:20am to 3:10pm. I dropped her off to school in morning, husband picked her up after school. Or if she joins afterschool program, I will pick her up when I am after work at 4:30pm.
As we live in NY, no nanny or maid.. too expensive to hire one.

Nillie, I'll try that later. Thank you for your advice. ^_^
hum... tell the truth... salary and benefit.. may be .. hong kong paid better..
to be a nurse manager.. first year only .. USD $80,000. (before tax-- tax is about 35%).
health insurance.. with co-pay.. no housing allowance...
so, to be management.. it may be better to work in hk. However, less workload, continuing education are the positive part to be working in overseas.
