我哋都唔知佢有幾多磅架..個時佢九個月倒,就大約十九磅半..依家,真係唔知..不過,嚟緊八月,佢會再checkup.到時話比你知呀..

相入面個部stroller 係肥佬個朋友, 個仔大個咗.唔用,比我哋架..依家我哋用緊個部(graco), 唔係幾夠高, 肥佬佢推得唔係咁舒, 所以我哋遲d會再買另一部, 個手位可以adjustable 架..
我哋個minivan 都係今年四月倒買(好似咁上下日子)..係 2005 Honda odyssey, 我覺得唔錯, 幾好..

亞仔自從係五個半月,開始食solid food. 我就開始唔係好夠奶..所以我都係奶粉,人奶咁餵佢囉..
你同RYAN 講,亞仔似佢姐,唔係100 % 同佢一樣架嘛..呢個係佢個靚靚老婆同佢既,二合為一既結晶品, 唔係佢既clone baby, 所以似佢,唔代表一定都係少頭髮 (我見到相,佢都仲有頭髮架)

亞仔出世時,無乜頭髮,所以無同佢cut 過,不過,今時今日,佢長得好快,驚佢"吉"到眼,所以咪同佢cut 囉.

你所指既d playgroup , 係preschool 個d,定係一大群,細路仔上個d 呀? 如果係playgroup, 我見到我個朋友,佢個仔,七,八個月,都上..但係如果係preschool 個d, 我老公,就話要等到亞仔 3 years old ,先比佢上囉..

i am new to us mom club. i am a stay-at-home mom living in san francisco. my daughter, valerie, just turned 9 months old 2 days ago

baby kurt looks very alert in the pic, doesnt looks like a 2 months old baby at all. cute, cute, cute. valerie is 9 months old and still looks like a potato ar

i got a a friends who lives in los alto and she will send her daughter who is 23 months old to a playgroup in the neighborhood. she has been on the waiting list for 6 months and finally got a seat in july. she is planning to have her nanny who is 50+ to drive her daughter to the playgroup ?-( i think that is too dangerous lor coz her nanny has a driver's license but never drive in the states before. although it is just a 10-min drive on local ....um she will pay her nanny to 'po chung'. .. for those playgroup, your baby doesnt need to be potty-trained, they will change diaper for them and train them.

i have applied for a pre-school (2007) for valerie. if there is good part-time playgroup, like 2 hours a day or 2-3days a week in san francisco, i think i will let her go and play...otherwise, i think she is too small to go to full-time playgroup and i will definitely miss her :-(

i got a peg perego p3 stroller, and i regret buying it coz it is too heavy to bring in and out of the trunk...maybe the stroller is too well-built *sigh*, i made me fell better to think it this way. would you consider a jogging stroller? it has a better suspension and i think more comfy for min-matt...not sure if the handle is adjustable or not

thanks for your info. we have shaved valerie hair in june ( my in-law made us shaved her hair :-( and she looks very much like a boy now. i think i will wait for a few months and have her hair grow a little longer before taking a passport photo.

Today, I meshed some chicken liver into the congee for Natalie and she liked it. My grandma said that will give her some iron

We will be going to HK for 2 weeks. My hubby cannot leave his business that long...I wish I can go for a month but I cannot take care of the baby on my own...especially on the plane

I'm so proud of you...you can still cook and do house chores. When Natalie was as little as Kurt...I was so sleepy all the time...I don't even remember what my husband and I ate. I think either he brought something home or my grandma made something and brought it over. I didn't get back to normal...until Natalie started sleeping thru the night

講得好岩, 我而家開始準備阿B細個時D衫仔, 執返出黎洗過晒佢, 講真, 一路執一路望下阿B, 真係大個咗好多, 都諗唔到原來佢細個真係咁細, 件衫仔掛係佢身上都係得一半長... 而家阿B重會幫手搞我執緊既衫-------搞亂檔呀!!!

It's unbelievable how much our babies have grown. When Natalie was in my stomach, I saw a really cute winter dress at gymboree and bought it. Unfortunately by the time I took it out to let her wear it...it was too small already. I still have the dress hung up in her closet...I don't want to put it away even though she will not fit into it

I'm really crossing my fingers that she will like the cow's milk. I will do whatever it take to get her adjusted

Have you looked into the gymboree playgroups...they are separated by age/activity level

My baby enjoyed it a lot when we took her there and I think it teaches her to share and not be afraid of strangers. Sometimes your city will also offer mommy n me classes for babies and toddlers. Since my bb is only 11 months, I would not feel comfortable putting her in a playgroup w/o my supervision.

i tried to look up 'gymboree playgroup' on yahoo but cannot find the website, do you have the link?

i found a review on the playgroup in epinion.com and it says the playgroup has 2 classes, one is playgroup and the other one is music class. there are different classes for babies from 6 weeks to 4 yrs old.

to all moms,

when should i send valerie to a playgroup? is it too soon to send her to one now? i have no idea ?-(

Actually, my husband has already wanted to buy the jogging stroller with aluminum frame and adjustable handle for a long time, but I refused it, I don't want to waste the money and it seems like it's unnessasary to me..Anyway, if so, I will buy sun, wind and insect protector at the same time.
His birthday is coming, maybe I'll buy one for his present..I'll see..

For the playgroup, my friend sent her son to the music class when he's 7 months old. So I don't think it's too early for your bb if you really want to ..

I did make congee for mini-matt, same thing as before,salmon, chicken breast, tomatos and broccoli... You know , I can't buy any poultry organ at "鬼佬market", not even chicken feet or traditonal chinese food . :-( ..
Let me tell you something.. One day , I made the instant rice with "豆鼓X魚 (fried dace)". After the lunch , I put the leftovers in the refrigerator. At night, Matt came home and opened the refrigerator. He saw it , and was so scared. He kept saying it's gross and horrible,it just looked like a rotten fish, he didn't even want to touch it .. He really doesn't understand why chinese can eat that kind of food , like duck feet.. :tongue:

My husband never complains about my shopping too. He wants me to buy more nice clothes because I don't spend too much money on it..

actually we love going to mexican restaurants, or french restaurants. Sometimes we will eat (northern) italian foods or american foods.. maybe thai foods once a while ( one of thai restaurants is nearby us, we always ate there before mini-matt.. A few days ago,we went there again. The empolyee remembered us and said " oh, BBQ chicken , right ? " )

Don't worry about the weight..I just ate the whole box of rocky road in 2 days..

mini-matt went crazy last night, he didn't go back to sleep til 2 in the morning. He just wanted me to hold him or sleep with us ( of course not, if my husband rolls over and sleeps on him, he must die.". So I had to keep my eyes wide open and looked at him (them) on the bed..I tried to put him in his cage and let him cry a while.. Finally, he went back to sleep , but he woke up at 5 again.. I gave him my human pacifier , and he went back to sleep . but he cried at 6 again .. I just let him cry in the crib and shut his and my door. After a few minutes, he fell asleep ..(thank GOD

)
My husband thought he might be teething again..

thanks for thei info. there is a gymboree playgroup in my district, just 5-10min drive

. they offer free class for the playgroup and music class, i am thinking to try it when valerie is 18months.

i seldom go to san jose ar, usually the farthest we go is los altos where most of my friends live... there is a very big japanese supermarket in sunnyvale along el camino real and my niece says the uni tastes good and costs only 5.99-7.99 per box. i wanna check this out ar but my husband says it doesnt worth driving 45min just to do groceries there wor :cry: maybe we can 'swing' by when we visit our friends at los altos.

as far as i know, there a quiet a few moms living in the bay area wor, yay

i can't help lol when i read your 豆鼓X魚 story, sooo funny. i dont eat animal organs coz i think it is gross but i dont mind ppl eating in front of me wor. haha, i eat chicken feet when we go dim sum. so your hubby doesnt like chinese food, poor 小肥佬....i enjoy eating all different cuisine but no or 'siu siu' chinese for a long while, i would die :-( :-( :-(

valerie refuses to eat congee, i tried it for 4-6 times, and she will spit it out :evil: she is 9 months old and she drinks 28-30oz formula but eat very little solids, maybe 2oz rice cereal, 1.5oz fruit paste and that's it for a day

sometime, i will add pea, sweet potato, squash in the rice cereal. should i cut down her formula intake and replace it with another solid meal?

my friend who recommended me to buy a peg perego stroller

has a peg perego stroller herself and she recently got another jogging stroller. she likes it a lot, she said the peg perego one is good for going to shopping mall but a joggin stroller is good to go outdoor... better suspension and not so bumpy when riding on concrete

Just say the word "main 姐"....like in English. It's not a chinese word...hehehe... :lol: :lol: :lol: We love to eat Italian food and Japanese food. Sometimes we do take-out for Thai food becuz it's on my husband's way home :-P :-P :-P I love the 豆鼓X魚 too...I can eat 3 bowls of rice with that....but like Big Matt, my husband doesn't like it. He just likes chicken, beef, and pork....not too into seafood or fish

That's why I'm like a hungry ghost when I go back to my parents house for dinner becuz they like to steam fish

The site should be able to provide you with the nearest location to your home and their class schedule. I don't think your baby is too young for playgroups becuz my daughter was only 7 months when I first brought her to gymboree classes. I also bring her to the Moms.club in my area and she seemed to enjoy the company of the other children even though they are toddlers already

Sorry to hear about your skin condition. Sometimes the public pools are dirty :tongue: :tongue: :tongue: We will go swimming at my friend's house instead since it's cleaner and she lives only few blocks away. You're lucky your husband can shop for you. I will not dare ask my husband to buy clothes for me. He will buy all the old lady clothes

One time he went to HK on his own before we got married...he had to ask his friend's wife to pick out clothes for me...and of course it wasn't really my taste
