oh, if u want to know if ur baby understand object permanence, u can play a simple game w/ him.

put his favourite toy in front of him and then hide it w/ a cloth. if he understands object permance, he will try to retrieve the toy from the cloth.

my baby doesn't understand it yet. thus, he will cry or protest for the missing of his favourite toy.

knowing this get ourselves prepared as once understanding of object permance is achieved, separation anxiety will likely follow. then we ve to pay more attention to the babies' feeling upon separation.

i read about that too. my bb still won't cry even if the closest one disappear ie me, husband & maid. but he will cry if he sees someone for the 1st time & they start talking to him. maybe he's shy perhaps?

v strange thing happened last week, he has always been good in car seat, but since last thur, always cry!! we change the way we put him in car seat, ie we put him in from inside the car not outside, he stopped crying. maybe he thought after we buckled him up, we closed the door & he felt abandoned. but if we did it inside the car, he felt he's with us.

--> no ar.. coz my mum takes care of him when i leave for work now.. but not sure if he will cry when it's the maid who holds him...

HI good morning,

我都係working mother, can i join?

我又無諗過辭工做full time mother, 因為如果要我成日對住阿b, 我無咁多energy, 如果仍然可以keep 住個工人都可以考慮, 不過我驚我會煩我老公成日叫佢早d放工陪我地.

乜你公司咁o架.....我地係一個月遲到十次就出warning letter,上個月8次了. 我係公司榜首

morning everybody :)

so tired today as the DWE was delivered yesterday and the "educational advisor" came to check and explained to us how to use it. I guess the baby won't feel so bored in weekdays now. many many things to do.

we ve a maid taking care of the baby and my mum comes everyday to help (and also keep an eye on the baby)

that's why my husband eventually decided to buy DWE as he found that the maid and the baby, in day time, are v. bored.
