星期二去左kauai 見老細, 佢以為我只係對工事不滿, 所以一啲都無諗到我係想走人, 佢只著手於點改革公司, 所以同佢地講都有啲哂氣呀.
想問下各位媽咪, 知唔知head hunter 公司, 會唔會幫人搵permenant 既工架. 如果搵左啲temp-to-hire 俾我, 我怕唔夠穏陣, 如果人地唔轉我做長工咪大劑.

Head hunter通常都幫人搵 temp, temp to perm,同埋 permanent 嘅工.除非你真係好急於轉工,否則我唔贊成你去做temp to perm or temp job.因為冇保障同福利嘛,但相對人工又會高d.己我哋需要一份stable job嘅working mom嚟講,做temp or consultant都幾risky ga.

各位媽咪, 好消息, 終於有得interview勒.

今個星期五in 果間公司係early childhood development 俾local hawaiian 小朋友, 個title 係program director. 因為通常local hawaiian 窮, 同埋唔重教育, 啲小朋友通常唔會入preschool, 一入就kindergarten, 但入左又追唔上, 咁呢間機構就有唔同program 分別幫家長, 老師同小朋友. 呢間公司好近屋企, 20分鐘車程, 離歷仔學校5分鐘車程. 正

另一間係下星期三in, 係comprehensive health center連急症室, 個position 係educational coordinator. 係招啲highschool students同adults 讀health course, 有nurse aide, practical nursing等, 幫醫療界曾加生力軍. 其實我自己都想讀埋一份, 因為係tuition free courses. 希望呢間個benefit 會cover 哂啲medical. 呢間離屋企3分鐘車程. 油錢慳唔少. 好過而家日日來回三個鐘.

係而家公司, 做極都係assistant director, 俾人騎住, 睇個勢都無得坐正. 呢兩個職位既個title 好過我而家呢個.

in 完後會同大家報告.

another recruiter called me couple days ago. i told him i am looking for a 9:30 - 5 job. he said is it short term. i said no. then he said he doesnt have anything available...;ooo
i know it's hard...having 3 kids...almost impossible to work long hours especially all of them have behavior problem.

congratulations! it's nice to have a short commute to work and a good title =) i have no title here. i know i am gonna make alot more if i switch but that also means alot less time with my kids. very hard to pick.

係comprehensive health center 既interview 泡左湯, 因為呢個星期係我公司fundrasing dinner, 好忙, 果間center 就話佢地下星期好忙, 佢地叫我呢個星期四, 尋日見工, 但我真係抽唔到時間, 而間center 話佢地下個星期就要close interview. 咁我唯有同佢地講" I won't be able to make it." 唉, 希望另一份會見得好啦.

見左果份program director 既工勒, 三個人in 我, 我覺得自己表現麻麻, 可能太耐無見工, 答問題都答得甩甩cut cut. 不過, 原來間機構都未決定啲position, 份project 要三個人, 佢地話可能會請兩個manager instead 一個director. anyway, 我會繼續努力寄信.

本來都想試下做state 既工, 有一份係children and youth development officer, 都有$5,215 一個月架, 但係要online 填表, 嘩!份表真係煩到嘔, 我用左兩個幾鐘都填唔完. 佢每一個requirement 都會問, 你而家或以前份工, 每星期有幾多個鐘做緊啲同樣性質既野, 真係好難計, 不過好彩有得save, 等呢兩日好心情啲就再填埋佢.

但我個HR同事話, state 既工health insurance 唔cover 哂, 自己都要俾幾多下. 佢話city & county既benefits 會好啲. 以都係要耐心等下city & county有咩好工出.

muimui, keep looking lar. Sometimes, good job is so difficult to find. I agree that the benefit and pay of state job is usually not better than city to country. I know friends working in both. State job is somewhat a life-time job, everybody hangs out there and wait until retirement. My hubby was offered a state job last year but finally he denied it because the pay was really low, only 30K a year. Even though he was told that he would get 40K in the following year and 50K in another year, we don't think that we can support the family with that little money, plus he needs to commute and drive for 1 hour to work.

for those who live in the bay area CA and interested to work for the government (SF unified school district), i know someone is hiring 2 positions:

- AP Manager: pays $80k + full benefits.
- Peoplesoft FIS Sr. Programmer: pays $92k + full benefits.

我做咗operation 5年咋.之前都係做accounting.不過我鐘意依家個pose多d.好玩d,仲識多少少business side 嘅嘢.但做e行冇乜保障.上2個礼拜公司又裁員,我發覺年齡一大同contribution弱就危險.所以我生埋依胎都要努力幫自己”汁汁”, 同要aggressive d.依家我太懶…

What a co-incident.... my hubby used to work in accounting side too buthe doesn't have a account nor finance degree though, he wish hedoes.... oh well...
His company is a small company.... um.... I think it's about 13 personand pretty much he is the only one doing the operation for the wholecompany... a lot of work, but then it's true too that it has noprotection cause if something goes wrong, he will be the first one getsblamed and then he will lose his job.....

I feel like nowadays, nothing is really secure... even governmentjob... ai...... it's always not enough money and too much work and atthe same time not flexible enough....
