Heiheima, Abbie mom, On, Sara, Jennie & other Tsing Yi moms,

There is a few days that I haven't come here. Oh there are a lot of messages and I needed some time to read. Up to now I still do not have a firm decision on where my kid shall attend K1. I understand the advantages of Kowloon Tong schools, but I worry about the long travelling time. Also my busband also does not agree with these and wish my daughter to stay in Tsing Yi. If she stays in Tsing Yi, my choices include Learning Habitat, St. Thomas and Tivoli according to the information from BK. Hope I can get more information in the coming months when I meet more moms in the N1 class.

My daughter will only start N1 class in October because she borned in 9 Sept. So don't know which class she will be in. Hope she can make friends with your kids later. Kindly inform me if there will be gathering for Tsing Yi moms. :-P

Dear holammama

I got the same concern as you for the kinder in Kowloon Tong. For Tsing Yi, you may also consider the Creative in the mid level of Tsing Yi.

暑假攪o下gathering都好o咼! On提議都幾好!
VE會所book房好貴o架! 而且只得一間大房, 好似係for30/40人! 如果人少可以去兒童室聚o下o既!
又或者上次愉景新城都唔錯!

I found that not many moms in BK recommend Learning Habitat. Is it really not that good? I am interested on it because it has foreign teacher. Other moms pls also give me your opinions. Thanks. However, I have seen that many moms wish to apply St.thomas.

我初時都有諗過學之園, 諗住近近地!
但後來參觀過, 覺得比較細! 而且亦有D媽咪覺得D先生同家長唔係好溝通! 所以印象麻麻!

當然, 始終我唔係好了解呢間學校, 所以都唔評論太多!
至於聖多默, 比較多正面o既評語, 暫時都唔見有人講有乜唔好! 惟一係有人認為功課少!

查實德仁同港城都咁多人呀!!!不過唔會為o左5毛錢而行多咁多路. 我就次次都係叫老餅車我去買, 一次過買3條片再加洗e粉, bb維他命, 牙膏之類咁!!無5舊都唔走得呀!!!

As my girl will attend the N1 of Learning Habitat this August, I can share with you about this Kinder later. I'm attracted by this school as they use 雙班主任制 and I only plan for my girl to study there for 1 year only. So far, the parents I know have v. positive comment on the school. I also noted that some parents in BK has negative comment on it. I think it depends on the teacher the kids encountered.

My girl also has attended the playgroup in Tivoli for almost 9 months since 1.5 year, I personally think the school is OK but don't like the school v. much. I attend the playgroup in Tivoli instead of the one in Tsing Yi Garden. The English teacher has changed three times during the period and some of them looked like Philippino. My maid told me one of the English teacher is actually a Napal. The Chinese teacher is also kind of cool and can't draw the attention of the kids. So, I think this is also situation that the same kinder can have diff. kind of teachers. However, my girl also learn a lot from the school, e.g.line up, say "present", sing and dance, get used to the routine of a kinder and etc.

As a Catholic, I think St. Thomas should be v. good though I haven't got any experience with them. My only experience is that the church is v. good and caring.

My son will also study the K1 next year, I also think about let him study in Kowloon Tong or in Tsing Yi, is St. Thomas a good kindergarten? Do you have any suggestion for Kowloon Tong? How long is the travel time? I have applied the Tivoli nursey for my son but not enrolled yet. Do you think it is valuable for them to study the nursey class. Please keep me posted if you all have any ideas on the K1. Many thanks in advance.
