Dear all,

My hubby & daughter arrived home yesterday at 10:45 pm from their 7 days trip of 登別, 洞爺湖, 函館, 層雲峽,小樽 & 扎幌 (wing on travel). Just grasp some brief idea here for your reference:-

- recent earthquake in Hokkaido, my hubby had no idea but some colleagues felt minor shake ~11pm woh

- weather: not so cold ?-( have not used ANY 保暖棉墊 (for hand/foot & body/camera)
My daughter wore special underwear + cotton T shirt + gown vest + gown jacket + windstopper & waterproof jacket (sometime only) + 內膽褲 + fleece trousers/雪褲, a pair of normal sock + gortex shoes (no warm function), glove + scarf
My hubby wore cotton T shirt + a thin fleece jacket + thick cotton jacket with windstopper & waterproof function + 內膽褲 + thick cotton trousers
My hubby says warm enough woh

but he advised must wear 內膽褲 especially in "mei yang" & the 函館's hill.
Sure the weather becomes colder later & if you go north of Sapporo. So plan ahead.

-層雲峽 visit: cancelled as the waterfall was frozen & afraid to meet strong snow fall which will block their bus journey

- 洞爺湖 visit : boring

- 滑雪 & snowing in Hokkaido: My daughter enjoyed the most, making snowman, playing "雪 dou" say several hundred Yen, not very expensive, My hubby play skiing, 雪car (his company pay

)good, good, good

- "sun woo" steak: extremely yummy woh but expensive, ~ $HKD3xx per head

- very dry weather, remember to bring the most creamy cream there with baby oil for bathing

- throat candy: better to bring

- my girl felt extremely dizzy on the plane & vomitted on the plane & got fever on the first mid-nite in hotel, after taking paracetamol, fully recovered in the morning & the rest of the trip....really thanks God.....so remember to bring medicine for kids ah

好開心, agent話我知有即日內陸機去sapporo, 我唔洗stay一晚o係tokyo, 可以o係sapporo玩多一日啦

I also never thought of 暈浪藥 for my girl ley.....so she did not enjoy much sightseeing on the flight ah....she even closed the window & slept during the whole aeroplane trip.

Let me ask her whether she would like to travel abroad next time sin

雪褲 >> I borrowed from my girl's classmate gar....you can try to go to those skiing shops in Mongkok/Yaumatei to shop ah....I have seen there ~ $2xx or 3xx each for kids gar.

雪boot >> I also borrowed gar....but my hb said he saw very nice & cheap (<HKD200) in Sapporo shopping mall woh

昨天過尖沙咀工作lunch時間往嘉年威老道d出入口店, 見到有kid’s雪褲, 要$2xx, 我覺我好貴現在決定不買了, 因我突然想起上年新年時去北京太約零下8-10左右我女兒都是穿了一條tight pants及一條夾棉褲加一對boots都ok lar, 費事waste money而最慘只是1年穿1次(使下年也不合適及下年未必去凍的地方), 在hk又不用穿, 但雨”yung”就不同, 話曬在hk幾度時可以穿返, 不過, 你女兒怕不怕冷先, 如果怕就要買lar.

至於child meal我女兒在太約6years old我已叫她自己call 航空公司自己order child meal, 有一次我叫她用英文交談, 一路都好地地, 點知對方問她flight no.她就用中文問我什麼是flight no.呀, 跟著對方已揭穿好是中國人所以用中文問她, 但我笑個半死, 你也可以叫女兒try try, 順便train

My husband already read the web-site that winwin323 gave me last few days. He checked already the price that is about $1,300 for 2 adults & 1 kid with lunch box and entry fee as well as the 裝置. We think the price is reasonable because in Japan.

My girl is already 9 years old now and the first time she ordered the child meal is about 6 years old. Let her try to do something by herself and she will become brave and independent. You can also ask your child to try it next time. Even in Japan, I always ask my daughter to go to ask the shop-keeper "二姑奶幾時嫁" means how much. The shop-keeper will put the price on the calculator and show it to her.

Just went to Watsons to buy the sore throat candy and individual pack of "皮pa膏", 費事去到再找spoon倒出來drink,. Watsons is on sale for this $27.9 for 12 individual pack. And the sore throat candy is $15.9 for 24 pcs (add 1 small pack gift with 12 pcs, so totally 36 pcs for only $15.9). Winwin323, go to buy lar.

You reminds me one point la.....I forgot to bring the medicine spoon for my daughter during the trip so my hubby just roughly estimated the dosage

So, for small kid, remember to bring the medicine spoon to count 2.5 cc or 5 cc....
