My friend had a very nice ceramic perm so I went to her hairdresser but mine turned out not as nice as hers. I was told it's because of my unhealthy hair. Then I went to another hairdresser, he told me my hair is very dry & damaged, he said to wait at least 6-9 mths before perming again & do lots of treatments. So I did that. After 9 mths, I permed again & it turned out really nice. So, for those who can't get good perms, maybe you should wait awhile & take care of your hair first. Also, make sure they use good perming lotion & do treatment immediately after the perm.
