It seems many mommies had / will have a trip to everywhere. My family and I were also had a 8 nights Mexico cruise vacation in Thanksgiving holiday week. We choice Nov because this was our anniversary and my birthday month, so just relax! Now, I have 26 weeks and just had a blood sugar test last week. Hope everything is ok, but some of my friend said my weight seems light. My weight gain 14.5 lbs from the beginning. In fact, only the first few months, I less my weight, after then it seems gain every month. And, my hubby and I feel that my OB is not quite good. Do you think I can change other OB right now ( 26 weeks ) and I should be c-section again.

Yes, we also begin to think about the name. It is difficult part to think. How's your tummy? Big more now. What food do you eat normally? How many lbs did you gain so far?

Got your photo! My hubby and I love to see your photo again and again. It seems we had a vacation together! This time, we had not more nap time cause my girl love to play in the pool, but her nap time is late to dinner time. So, some nights we had a two persons world in dinner and she usually get up the dessert time.

It seems busy after trip. We took a lot of pics in cruise. I will send to you, the pics almost finish to upload. It took me many times to upload and I always leave my pc seat. Don't forgot I am an ah 4, 24 hours on call. heee....... X'mas is coming, I think all of us need busy for shopping and send cards. I do want we have x'mas gathering, anyway, it seems everyone busy during this holiday. Let us think think la... and Merry x'mas ! :-P

When I got pregnant, I told my husband that he can pick out the English name for the baby and I take care of his Chinese name. Cuz I don’t want my baby to have a “leung” name. My 62 said the baby doesn’t need to have a Chinese name, but I ignored him.

Dear Mommies,

Thank you all for your notes.

After having had the high fever for about 5 to 6 days, thanks God that Sean's fever was finally gone on Monday. However, he was still very tired, weak, and had very poor appetite til yesterday. On Tuesday when he's in the park, it was the first time that he fell from the playground. Luckily it's not too high (probably < 4 feet) and he only bit his lower lip and scratch his chin and had little bleeding.
Now he's probably about 70 to 80% recovered and only need to deal with the cold and coughing symptoms.

The major side-effect from this RSV sickness for him is that now he's very scared of taking any kind of medicines, especially the Tylenol. He even warned us, "When I'm in bed ne, I don't like to take medicines ge. You understand or not ah? I don't like to take Tylenol ga!". So, we still have a hard time giving him the cough medicine now.
Maybe becoz we'd been waking him up every 4 hrs to take his temperature and gave him the medicines, so he couldn't sleep well even when he's really sick. But I had no choice, coz the fever was so high (102-105 F).

Also, he seemed to be a bit spoiled since he's sick. After being stopped going to school for almost 2 weeks, some of his bad behaviors came back again. So, hopefully he'll be competely recovered by this weekend, and I can't wait sending him back to school next week (even only 4 more days before Christmas break).

So, if yr kid is under 3 yrs old and u suspect s/he might hv RSV, pls take him/her to the pediatrician immediately. becoz their conditions could be very serious and lead to respiratory failure.

Some facts abt RSV, click here.

if yr baby is under 1 or 2 and was born prematurely, u might wanna ask yr pedi abt the RSV immune globin (antibody) which is only reserved for those who're in the highest risk.
there're no vaccines (like flu shots) for the RSV virus available so far.

By the way, I watched channel 26 (Chinese channel) news by chance last night. It said that there're so many kids coughing these days during this flu season. The CDC (disease control board) recommends the pediatricians must (i thought that was a "should") give flu shots to those between 6m to 23m.

Long time no chat here and it's hard to catch up you gals. Anyway, Chloe and I are in Hong Kong right now and we already been here for 2 months and will spend 1 more month here before we back to US. Anyway, Merry Christmas to all US BK mommies!!!

We took Chloe to Tokyo Disneyland last month and she was excited when she watched the parade. Will upload later after we back to US and send the pictures to you guys. Anyway, we will celebrate Chloe's 1st birthday with Hong Kong BK mommies on 1/8 (around 50 babies and couples). Also, we will have another playgroup birthday party in Hong Kong which also before we back to US. Then, we will have 1 birthday party in US for Chloe which mainly invite our Church friends. So, Chloe will probably have 3 birthday cakes and parties

I guess after become a full time mommy, my main job I found out is to find activities and friends for my daughter

To All the Mommies,

Merry Christmas!

Thank you all for your notes. Sean was completely recovered after having had the RSV illness for a little over a week. We let him to rest for a few more days at home, so he was out of school for almost 2 weeks. He was back to school on Monday. Last night the whole preschool from their campus celebrate for Christmas at the main campus' sanctuary. All the kids from their campus stood up in the stage to sing Christmas carols. It's tough for the 2-yr-olds to stay in the stage in public for an hour. Sean was a bit cranky and sleepy too, coz he only napped for less than 30 mins yesterday.
Anyway, starting from today, they'll have a 10-day Christmas break. So, he went to school for 7 days only this month.

Hi All,

I used to order prints from dotphoto.com and liked the quality of the photos. However, they switched the photo-paper to Fuji from Kodak, so the quality is not as good as before. I like Kodak better.

I'm looking into Kodakgallery, Sony's Imagestation, and Snapfish and comparing the prices and the qualities at the same time.

If any of you know of which online photo companies use Kodak photo-paper and offer good prices, please let me know.
