Where is gymboree? Is it an English playgroup? I am also looking for good English playgroup for my son. Do they offer free trial lesson? Thanks for sharing.
維多利亞幼稚園 pg costs HK$200 per class for 2 hrs; 1.5 hr conducted by cantanoese-speaking teacher, and 0.5 hr by a native-speaker. They'll start Q3 in Apr 8 and welcome applications now. There're 2 classes with 8 toddlers each, age group ranged from 1-2yrs old and 2-3 yrs old.
Both teachers sing english songs with the kids, plus some cantonese songs. So, it's a mix of english/cantonese. However, the local teacher speaks english with a cantonese acent. During the 2-hr class, there're sessions like, songs singing, storytime, tea time, toys playing time, free-time, etc. And kids can learn songs, courtesy, discipline, toys-sharing, and other social/motor skills, etc. I think Victoria pg is like a mini-kindergarten.
Actually, I want to let Rachel goes to 卓基幼稚園pg. But there're just a few kids, 3-4 back in Nov 2005. Then, I decided not to go there.
