To all mums here,
I found a good website that u can watch the whole process of lasik with real person in chinese wording.
You can click to mingpao.com, then, click to "medicine" (in chinese words but I do not know how to type chinese, sorry), then, to hksh"yeung wo" special area, then on the left hand side, you can click video clip, then a lot of topics u can see and the last one is the lasik operation.
U need to use real one to play this video. Very horrible, after seeing it,, I am very afraid.

Dear all

I have not read all messages here, just want to share that I have already heard a monther of my daughter's schoolmate said that Kwong On in HK side is very good in doing this.

By the way, my colleague said that her friend is difficult to see clearly (only about 20% only)during night time even though she completed this operation nearly 2 years.

Therefore, bear in mind that any operation is comprised with risk. Do consider the need before doing that. That is also why I dare not to do that till now :-P

It is a little bit painful while removing the 角膜瓣。Because it need to do by applying vaccum. Besides, there is no pain on the rest of the operation. You can see everything during the O.T. The Dr will stick your eyelash first and then put in a eye retractor. You can see he use the swab to clean your eye and spray some liquid on it....then vacuum then a few time Laser.....For me it is quite terrible, but I just told myself to calm down at that time,because I know the effect of the O.T. is depends on the concentration at the red spot.
After the O.T, it takes about 2 hrs to overcome the feelings of (cutting the onion) the eyes can't open widely and the tears coming out involuntary. Afterwards, there is still a little bit painful for about 6 hrs. ( you can take the panadol to relief it).
When will you do the O.T? The" I centre" in Jordan is okay. It let me feel clean and comfort and the nurse in here is also very nice.

I done the O.T. yesterday. But I am not very clear today. I ask Dr. Kam for the reason during F.U.today. Dr. Kam said that maybe the reason of my worse sightingbefore (Lt eye: 925 Rt.eye: 1025). It need a bit longer to recover.I hope so.In fact I still happy for the result of the O.T. since I really can see more far and clear than before.
For your question on your last pm for me. I asked Dr. Kam already, he said although the degree is important point to let it be successful, the most important point he more concern is the thickening of the cornear. So he said he needs to look at the result of the examination before. He said one of the case she only got 500 degree but the cornear is not pass the exam so she can't do the lasik.

恭喜你唔駛再做四眼妹!

成個手術過程我覺得最唔舒服係固定眼球時壓落嚟嗰吓, 其他我反而冇感覺, 做完之後我係即時可以張開眼睇嘢, 唔單止冇乜流眼淚, 反而眼乾, 要不停滴住人造淚液, 初時睇嘢都矇矇地, 瞓醒之後就清楚好多。所以我諗可能係每個人眼睛的敏感度不同, 所以情況亦有所不同。

你第二日返去甘醫生度覆診, 佢有冇話你仲有幾度近視? 你記得唔好捽眼同濕水呀! 頭幾日最好盡量多啲休息, 夜晚早啲瞓, 我覺得如果頭一個星期比對眼heavy duty的話, 可能會有不良影响o架,(這是我的諗法!) 我到依家夜晚瞓覺都仲有戴住個眼罩瞓, 因為驚自己唔覺意捽咗眼都唔知, 所以瞓覺記得戴眼罩呀! 頭一個月係關鍵期, 傷口埋得好唔好同近視反彈幾多, 就係睇呢個月, 所以都係小心為上呀! 我覺得朝早一睜開眼就睇到嘢, 夜晚話瞓就瞓, 唔駛洗隱形眼鏡係好幸福呀! 所以我真係好開心自己做到手術, 因為我有個friend成千四度近視, 佢睇咗兩個醫生, 一個喺養和, 一個喺港安, 都係話佢做唔到呢個手術, 唯一方法係換人工晶體呀! 佢幾唔開心呀! 所以我好慶幸我雖然唔係好perfect, 但都做得到呀!

Dear all,
I am happy that all of u can share the experience to me. I will do it on Friday and I will tell u my result to u. I will choose Dr, Chow Pak Chin in St.Teresa as my mum wants me to do it in hospital than in the centre.

When di u have make-up after the operation? I mean foundation but not the eye make-up.

我做完手術有化粧返工, 不過就冇化眼粧喎! 我諗頭一個月都係小心啲, 唔好比啲粉入眼好啲喎!

Hi, b4, I will do the lasik in st.teresa tmr but suddenly they said that the opeartion room has some problem, so, I will not do it in st teresa and I will choose Dr.Kam to do it in the centre.

It is very ok and I do it in the centre by Dr. Kam and in fact, really not painful and ver yfast, I think I do it only 10 mins. I am very happy now, after doingg it for the 1st hour, u will have many tears and want to sleep, after that, very ok.
