I think if you are already in 19th week, it may be hard to get a US insurance that will cover it unless it's a group insurance (e.g. if you work in the US, and the company purchase the health insurance for you as a benefit... those are the Group Insurance Plan - not the individual insurance plan that you buy yourself) and you may need to proof that you do not have any lapse for your insurance coverage (i.e. you have insurance plan coverage before you get pregnant and till now). I am not sure about HK's insurance.
If you have relatives in San Francisco, then maybe it's more convient for you to find the Dr and hospital in SF area. I have Kaiser insurance right now and my son's Dr also in Kaiser. So it's different. My son's Dr is pretty good actually (even it's under Kaiser - which has a not-so-good reputation).
In South Bay, if you want to do C-section, I heard Dr Ken Liu is pretty good. He has good c-section skill (from what I heard).
I don't think they would not release the information to you without authorization, that is illegal to tell the third person regarding personnal information without permission.

JMW, I may share my friend experience to you. My friend who don't have any medical insurance & born baby at CPMC in 2000. She came to US 1 month before her due date so as to save money. It worth around USD 15000 including the Doctor & hospital fee. She already done all necessary test before she came to US. However, the hospital said she still need to do a more detailed blood test & it costs around USD 300.
I call a OB/GY today. They have a packet USD 2700 + USD500 with C section. The CPMC hospital fee is not including. (it's around USD 10,000 for regular delivery without any special treatment. It will charger a lot by c-section)
It seems the price is not so expensive for normal delivery. But you should keep in mind that it will costs a lot for C-section or any other complicated case.
Here is the information for the doctor. The doctor office just next to CPMC. You may call them by yourself. Hope it help.

Hello Vesley,
My daughter will start her 1st violin (group)lesson tomorrow through our local city community center. I think it's better to let the child try the group lesson first. If he/she really likes it, then he/she can go for the private lesson. We rented a brand new violin for $25 a month.
You may want to check with your city community center for more info.
