As far as I know, Nexus is a resort hotel, the rooms
and scenes are great. Usu downtown hotels r smaller, esp swimming pool. It depends on whether u want island hopping arranged by yrself and try dffnt seafood places as downtown traffic time is less. Shangrila-Tanjung Aru Resort takes only 15min but Nexus sb around 30min at least. Some of the sunset photos v took were from that STAR hotel. And its bb club is good that kids cn play incase rainstorm comes. Hwvr v always hv to take their
buffet lunch/dinner there as v dont want to go out.

For Nexus, as crabma 所講, depends on what you are looking for. If resort, it's really fine. You can see from my photos that the scenery is good and the rooms are nice. But once I get there, I didn't bother to think of go to town. It takes about 45mins. to get there. And actually we're looking for a really relax holiday that's why we prefer this hotel. So if you look for convenience and enjoy downtown tour. You better choose Megellan then. But for your info, even though you stay at Nexus, you can still join their island hopping tour.

Actually both of our photos are really different. Yours can feel the interest of KK whereas mine are family happiness. I always think that I can take those photos even in Stanley.
After seeing your photos, I'm really thinking of the itinerary when I travel to KK for the second time. ?-( Must have to ask you more by that time.
