my children have their own account under my name at nationwide, because i open the account for them when they were one month old , so must under my name. but for kids after 7 years old, no need to open under parent's name la. don't worry their signature, everybody's sign changed when they get older.
as well as an account, they also got a 18 years long term saving plan ga, save for their future ma.
Luckily I don't have any morning sickness or sick but I eat a lot as well. My mum in law said it would be girl if the mother eat a lot... But don't know if it is true.
We don't need to pack anything as we don't bring too many things back to HK except two empty suitcases. keke. My EDD is on April, 2007 and don't know if it will be early as it is my first baby....
If I were you, I would scold him. We are not the doctor so we would bring the children to see him if there is any problem. Don't let he/she "prawn" us ar. My mum in law has this kind of expereince in Newcastle. She asked the GP to give her more medi and the GP said " the medi is very expensive, I can't give you more". Then my mum in law shouted at him " If I come here often to ask for more medi, it costs NHS more $$$" The GP then just gave her more...
Also, you can change GP. I trust there are many good GPs out there. I booked an appointment with my GP to ask a question and she was very happy to help...
You better change GP if you feel not comfortable. I'm a mutli culture person but I think the black here discriminate Chinese as well. I saw a black mid wife in the hospital. She never looked at me when talking to me. She just looked at the computer. She had also not explain to me what I needed to know. Therefore, I will change hospital soon.
Do you take long time to see GP? I don't need to wait wor... If my appointment is 3pm. I went there 2 minutes before my appointment and my GP see me on time. It's the same case when I was in Newcastle. It may be the problem with your GP if you need to wait for long time......
