Yes, I really don't like FMCG field. Actually I left this field since my first marketing job at Colgxtx. Then I worked in the retail marketing field for fast food KXX and jewellery chain. But after my 2nd baby born & I didn't have work to do at that time, I couldn't be that picky to choose employers. That's why I joined my present company.

Also, could you please advise what will people ask in the interview? What do they concern, how would you present your job reference to the employers?

Hi puff,
I don't see Master degree is very important in marketing post, but if it is large MNC, I think it counts.

The common questions in interview :
1.) introduct yourself (you can go through your career background starting from the most recent one & tell your reason for leaving)

2.) strengths & weaknesses (the most boring questions)

3.) any "descriptions" for your character

4.) any memorable jobs/tasks to share

5.) how to deal with difficult colleagues & situations

6.) any strong points you think you are better than the other candidates to fill in the post

7.) do you willing to travel

8.) can you work late

Also do expect them to talk in english & sometimes to test your mandarin.

re the master degree, I don't have it but my assistant does

so I don't expect she will stay long regarding the present $$ my company can offer

If you apply, I think your chance is better because you have organised watch/jewellery trade shows experience. This post requires to take care of trade shows for Far East offices. I don't know what they can offer.

BTW, shall we re-schedule our gathering on May 4 (Thur) as May 5 is holiday?

hello... morning all.... so busy ar... how was the interview? hope u all had a good one... still very busy with the golf event and the launch... 5 customers just called at such last min to cancel the reservation for the golf event.. :-( :-( don't know how to get more customers to go la, only 1 week away jar... sigh...

anyway, wish u all a great long weekend ahead la...

I can unserstand you. I used to work on a annual golf event when I was with my pass company, but luckily, we don't have to call for customer. It was a PGA tour where we was the sponsor for the HK tournament only
