Where do u live? Sometimes, family dr nearby can relieve much.
My son has low fever (100 -101.5) on and off since Sat night. He also has congested nose.
Our doctor said he may have virus affection. Many of her recent kids patients came with high fever, vomiting and diaherra after having low fever for couple days. So she said she needed to observe.
I told her that my son had NO coughing on the visit
So she gave up 2 fever reducers (DHAMOL SUSP, 2.5cc 4 times a day). One for low fever and one for high fever
Also she gave up UNI-PHEN SYRUP (2.5 cc, 4 times a day), nose drop (morning and nite).
However, after taking the medicine, my son is tired but is not willing to go to sleep and is a bit "hyper active" somtimes. During the last almost 20 hours, he only slept for like 3 or 4 hours.
So I wonder what is UNI-Phen SYRUP FOR ? It doesn't help his congested nose at all. He starts to have a little running nose now! And it seems to make so much " energy "
