克拉碼頭食野真係又貴又唔抵食
不過如果話要食個 feel 就無得好講
其實魚尾獅果度有好多餐廳
對住新加坡河，我覺得好坐好多，舒服好多
有間泰國菜唔貴呀
海鮮都有得食，不過我唔清楚幾錢
我諗都係咁上下

Dear All

In my own opinion, the only tasty dish at 小紅屋 (East Coast) is "Chili crab". (S$72 for two crabs, price as at 26 March 2005!!! i.e. quite expensive)

Basically, you are able to eat same quality "Chili crab" or "Black pepper crab" at some other places (at relatively cheaper price).

Notes: "發起人肉骨茶" close every Tuesday.

Easy媽咪,

Maxwell food centre is not a good idea for dinner. Tin Tin Chicken rice (天天海南雞飯, much cheaper but quality is competitive with 文東記, you can try and compare to see which style you like more, depends on your taste) will all be sold out at arond 7:00 p.m. Some famous shops also close quite early. (Open early but close early)

So, Chomp Chomp food centre is the right place for dinner (but not for lunch, since they open late but close very late), in particular 燒魔鬼魚 is very good at Chomp Chomp (although it was only a relatively small food centre, most of their food are very good).

If your Hotel is at bugis street, you can try 文東記 at River Valley road and not Balistier road. That one is (1) closer, (2) with air-condition and (3) bones were taken out from the chicken. Not all 文東記 provide boneless chicken (good for kids).

Both 文東記 at River Valley road or Balistier road are not far away from Stamford (Taxi approx S$5 to $6). 文東記 at River valley road is slightly closer, with air-condition and boneless chicken. Don't forgot to try their fish+beat ball soup (S$2 each), cheap and good, in particular for kids. Again, not all 文東記 provide this soup. 文東記 at Balistier road do not have air-condition.

On Balistier road, there is 發起人肉骨茶 (文東記 is nearby, 5 minutes walk on the same road). For exact address, please refer to my previous posting.

I can't remember the name, but I can recall that they don't have buffet at that time. They may have closed or now provide buffet or re-opened with buffet...??!! Good luck.

A little late to respond, you should have gone already. I don't eat at 小印度, too smelly.

Yes, 魚尾獅果度有好多餐廳 and I have tried most of them for business lunch. Well, most of them are Western food, if you just wanted to sit and relax, or have a cup of coffee... not bad.

SQ is offering very reasonable tickets via internet booing. They can be as low as HK$910 per person, depends on your departure & arrival days. It valids for departure (from HK) on 4/29 and arrival (to HK) on 5/3. Then you can spend the whole long weekend there. This way is even cheaper than SQ's promotional package.

我回來啦! 六日五夜的行程很是輕鬆因我完全沒有特別的地方要去除了到Bintan, 至於Bintan Lagoon我仍覺得比較舊些但環境很不錯, 而且酒店內有齊一切活動和食店如不想煩真是非常方便, 在新加坡我到過Santosa, Lau Par Sa, Suntec City, Merlion Park, 義安城的高島屋, 最係一天上午原本到了小印度但傾盆大雨等了大半個鐘仍未見停所以唯有回程返酒店, 優閒的新加坡之行便完結了. :wink:
