Hi mums,
Can you recommend some 暑期班 for my kids (ages of my kids are 6 and 4) ? I found it very hard to look for some. I live in Ma On Shan area. I got some brochures with classes on but most of them are full or closed for the applications already. SIGH ~~
Having my own career is great, but juggling between family and work is very very challenging! Yes I do travel quite a bit and it can be anywhere in the region plus US. What I like about my job is that I do get some flexibility such as working from home once in a while. My bosses are all in US.....
We're also facing some issues with our helper....will need to do something about it soon.
Then No.1 is finalized with a new direction on his schooling!!! He will change to an IS in the coming Sept. We're escaping from the P6 year which is full of fears for exams too! Hurray! Redpocket/Car-long, we're sort of following the path you have experienced. Also here a big thanks for sharing with me your advices and situation!
I do hope this is right for him...afterall he got the acceptance all by himself!

Yes, most of them are closed already. So early... Well...maybe I am a slow person. I need to catch up the pace of life in HK then.... :-( :-( :-(
I don't necessary need to find the "learning" type of activities for them but at least they will have something to do during the holiday. We have only planned a trip to Australia, to Ocean park. Disneyland, beaches (depends on the weather), maybe going to China for few days (south part of China)...and that is all. I can't think of anything else. The holiday is long...please suggest some for me thanks.

the camp sounds great but not for my kids ages...can't enjoy it...
Oh, on the summer activities, no.1 will go for a 6-day camp (IT Camp) in CUHK. No plan for the others yet....quite a difficult task to organize this every year! But no.2 will be going on P1 in Sept, so he does have a longer holiday than it used to be, as kindergarten starts school in early Aug, so no.3 will only have around 3 weeks of holiday. We'll probably go to Disneyland, Ocean Park again!
