Do u have to open an account at NM for online shopping? I never know we can shop NM online... how about Saks? Can we do the same? another shopping trap lar... i can't go to NM website, can't look.... how can u buy so many pair of shoes without trying them gar???
I also got the Nicholas & Bears catalog, the VIP sale is from now until 20/5... before, the sales always tricked me to buy the cash coupons so to exchange the bear bear... i have exchanged couple of those bear bear and gift before... always have to use those cash coupons later on... i think their sales technique can tempt many mothers to buy more and more... as they always have new bear bear coming... i guess this time i won't be tempted la as i still have some cash coupon left from before...

Well, for the NB, same here. I've been tempted to buy a lot for the bears. In the end, my daughter and son have not much interest in them at all. So, I won't buy too much just for the bear this time. Thanks for clarifying that the closing date is 20/5.

I have choosen the white shoulder bag for Summer. Though the leather bags from Chloe are very pretty, they are too heavy and I can't stand them. Shoulders hurt after carrying them for a short while and definitely not for shopping days!!! (which day is not a shopping day by the way? :lol: )
NM, Saks & Bloomingdales (I am sure more of those higher end dept. stores do) ship internationally even when ordering online, but instead of going through the regular shopping cart thing, you'll need to have an online chat with their online sales rep.
To order online, both NM & Saks take AE, Visa, Matercard and their own cards. Using their own cards can accumulate points but I didn't since it is a hassle to set up paying those accounts in the bank personally and fees apply when paying oversea accounts. Not worth the hassel!
Don't you guys think the HK governemt should tell Chanel, LV, BV, LC, etc. to carry all the items that their company has or represents? That way so many of us can 取於香港, 用於香港 la!!
Regarding buying shoes without trying them on, I only buy brands that I have been buying (at least 5, 6 pairs of different styles). So, I kind of know what brand and what style should fit me with certain size. You know la... styles are more or less the same (meaning shape and height of shoes) and can guess la. But for brands that I have not been buying, I wouldn't buy online.
Just a reminder, both NM and Saks' sale is for one day only. Therefore your order has to be completed before 6 pm HK time, which will be 12 am US West Coast time. Hurry hurry!!
Sorry, missed to mention on the previous message, you don't have to have any account established to buy thru online sales rep for any of those department stores.
