He is a citizen. If I have a temporary gc, I just wait for three years and then apply for citizen directly. That means I can do it next year. The fee $200 bucks for a new gc is really to throw into salt ocean water.
Today I got the green card. Wow, the green card design is so hign technology. I think it is impossible to fake gc.

You will fly on 28, right? Take care of you and Nat Nat. Have a nice trip.

', 我諗佢依家太細, 將來大個仔佢會唔記得呢段日子, 所以依家得閑就同佢映d相, 等佢第時可以睇番嘛!!
今次我哋同NY一樣, 都係stay3個月. 仲有2個月我哋可以返hk, 過番d穩定嘅生活!!!

我執左一日,先執好野咋..好多野拎呀..叻叻d衫, 好多仲著得,又著唔到幾個月,攪到我唔知拎唔拎..終於拎埋先..本想pack做一個luggage, 都係唔得..要兩個, 仲要有手提行李先夠裝晒, 咁岩hk呢個星期又話冷, 真係帶少件褸都唔得.

我會番到hk再post講平安啦..希望叻叻乖乖地啦..佢呢幾日超難攪, 勁摟計...日日都喊過先安樂...:-(

其實, 係我老公要嚟NY工作3個月, 所以我同軒軒跟埋過嚟,
依家我哋喺日本, 又係留3個月, 搞掂後就可以成家返hk.
不過, 我好幸運, 認識到呢班US mami, 佢哋個個都好friendly,
我哋做埋friends, bb又有朋友仔, 所以我會盡可能keep in touch.
同時, 又可以認識到好似妳呢d新朋友呢!!
喺香港, 我哋住係港島區, 咁妳呢?

Hi all moms:

最近心情有啲ups and downs, 都係因為 Terence BB ... 11/17 佢打咗針, 然後 fever, 試過最高燒到104, 去過兩次 ER ... 好驚, 真係好驚, 好驚 Terence BB 有事 ... 撲嚟撲去, 個人好攰, 個心又担心 ... 呢兩日佢又鼻塞, 瞓得唔好, 咁我當然都冇得瞓 ... 老公都有幫手, 夜晚佢抱 Terence BB 氹佢瞓, 但 Terence BB 鬼打咁精神 (佢其實 daytime 都冇乜瞓), 老公自己攰, 咪掹囉, 拍 Terence BB pat pat, 又話佢做乜唔瞓, 或者放 BB 喺 bouncer 自己就返房瞓... 唉, 所以都係我凑番 ... 我都知佢攰, 但我成日到對住 Terence BB, 都想有啲 free time 抖抖 ...

BB 鼻塞, 你哋有乜計仔呀? 我已經 keep 住 humidity 喺 50% 同埋幫佢吸鼻涕 ... 仲可以點呀?

the new set of questions for the test of citizenship definitely look tougher than the older ones wor! i would say the old questions are like at the elementary school level, but the new questions are like at the high school level.
those new questions are similar to the materials of the US Government 101 course that i took in college years ago. the americans in that class were pretty good at it. i guess becoz they've already learned it in high school. however, for our foreign students, it was tough for us to understand and remember those terms and procedures, etc. and now i totally forgot abt it.

for the 5-yr requirement, they only count the days that u stay in the US.
my husband used to travel a lot, so he kept a spreadsheet of the dates that he left US and when he came back, etc. so, they'll "subtract" the days when u're out of the country from the 5-yr requirement.

jstn,

kinda understood yr situation. our boy also caught a serious flu and bad coughing when he's abt 4 to 5 months old.
the pedi told us to give him some "steam" to smell to relief his stuffy nose. however, it's hard to do it at that young age.
usually when they lay down, they suffer more from the stuffy nose. i remember that we had to hold him up pretty much the whole night.
maybe u should ask yr pedi to see if it's ok for him to take any medication to relief his stuffy nose and in what dosage (has to go by weight).

as long as bb terence is still vey active, that means he should be fine. the doctor always looked at the "general condition".

鼻塞問題, 我就問醫生可以點做, 醫生話可以 suction
nose as needed 同埋用一支叫 SALINE MIST
(SALINE NASAL SPRAY) 係BB鼻每邊一DROP.
你可以嘗試去買一支好平架, 我就買左支平過$2.
咁我係BB鼻每邊一DROP後就幫佢吸鼻仔,
都好似幾WORK.
