Thats nice enough,it's good that you can spend a lot of you time with your family.I am in Hong Kong at the moment,and my hubby is in Aus,miss him sometimes,and he actually he said he rather spend time with us more than work!! So,i guess you are lucky!!!

Are you living in HK permantly or you just came for visit?
If you live overseas for long, then you will understand that our life is very different from HK which is full of entertainment.

I agree with you about the different life style people in HK and overseas have! You live in Canada? How long have you been living there? My son is almost 8 months old, we live in northern California. Nice to meet u!

I have been in the US since 2001. Life is simple here, not as fun as that in HK~ I enjoy the big sky and the fresh air here, but I also miss the food and people in HK. Yes, my husband is white.
Where did you live with your husband before? How many kids do you have?

I have one daughter and she is 4year old. Expecting a second one by next JUN. I met my husband in Australia in 1997 when we were studying. Then he came to HK to marry me and settle down for another 4 years before we move to Canada.

How about you? Are you working? Yes, I miss the food and family in HK but I dont really enjoy the busy life back in HK.

You and your husband have lived in many different countries! Why you guys pick to settle down in Canada? You don't like the busy life in HK? How about your husband? My husband would love to live in HK!
I met my husband in school too! He proposed in HK but we got married in Florida in 2004.

It is too early to tell if it is a boy or gir. I am just 11weeks!
I am a working mom and my daughter goes to daycare.
yes, one baby is very busy but if you have 2, then they play with each other. Try to have another one!

Speaking of living different countries, my husband is the king. He born and brought up in middle east till 12yr, then move back to India, then live in States for a short time as his dad was working there, then travel to England very often due to many relatives, then study in Australia, then live in HK. If you know Indians well, Canada is the heaven for them. Besides, it is almost impossible to get the US citizenship with relatives help.

As my husband is not "white", it is very difficult for him to get his career and he loves Canada so much as no one really care about his skin color. Because of his American accent, no one believes he is immigrants here!

Is your husband from Florida? What makes you move to California? What is your life being Chinese in US? Do you have lots of "white" friends?

As I am older and with family, I prefer family life as well as my husband. We like the simple life.

We plan to have another one, but probably in a few years. I like them to be a few years apart, just like your case, your kids will be 4-5 years apart!
I know it's hard for Indians to get a green card through relatives, but if you and your husband like to live in the states, you guys can get a job and stay here (and then get a green card and eventually become a citizen).
My husband is not from Florida, we just wanted a beach wedding, that's why we picked Florida! We like California because the weather is nice and people are very diverse. Like you said, nobody cares about your skin color nor your accent. There are all kinds of mix couples and kids as well as immigrants from all over the world in California!!! Everybody is different~
I don't feel anything special about being Chinese in the US so far. No particular advantages nor disadvantages. My friends are pretty diverse: white, black, asians, latinos and mix. Well, we make friends not according to their race, right? I just happen not to know any Indians. My cousin has a lot of Indian friends because she lives right in Silicon Valley.
How's life in Vancouver? Are there many Chinese? Do you hang out with hk people there?
You're not old, you just like simple family life. So am I
