My husband will go to NY for a seminar next week. The organizer arranged him to stay at Palisades. Just wonder how he can get to & how long it takes to go to NY downtown, as he needs to do something down there by himself.
P.S. He won't be driving.

Yes ah, the baby shower is a good ah. It maybe your hubby's friend give you all of need. The western people seems respect baby shower, they will give many good stuffs. Like me, my hubby's co-worker made us the baby shower, we just went the party, and got more. Stroller, car seat, diaper bag, bath tub, milk bottles, blanket, clothing .....etc.... We use all the baby stuffs so far, still have ah. Thus, if you want buy something for baby, right now, only get the information and wait after the baby shower. And decide to buy, it avoid waste money.
I agreed your hubby, go to trip before you gave birth your bb. When I was pregnancy, we also went everywhere, but I ready the ( run away bag ) in my car. At least I had something in case I emergy entry hospital. No worry wor, your hubby with you and also you still in Californina.
P.S. not travel in the last month before bb born.
BB change a lot, so take bb to studio and take family photo la, good memory in the future.
The car seat and stroller, you can buy a set, the car seat is for newborn, and can put in the stroller. When the bb get big, you can put bb in the stroller without newborn car seat. But you need buy another bigger car seat replace the newborn car seat in your car.
*** you need ready the car seat before you enter to hospital , because the hospital cannot give you take the bb home without car seat . ***

Wah !! You stayed hospital only one night with c-section. I couldn't do that. I stayed 4 nights and requested my doctor give me stay one more night , but he said, "no reason made you stay one more night."
About the meal, I ordered many different dishes with fresh fruits, juices, ice-cream, yorgut, hot tea, soup. It seems a hotel. If I forgot to order, they would call me and remind me. I always order more, when the staff took my meal to me, she said "I knew you are very hungry." I ( 5 ho e c ) said yes , because I beastfeeding. ( in fact,........... ) I also many fresh fruits and juice to go. When the last day I left, the nurse asked me order our lunch before check out, but I didn't la. ( 5 ho e c..... ) I already ate my breakfast la.
Conclusion, I felt very good - food, services, and big private room with private phone. ( satisfied !!! )
