OK, because no.1 will be starting in an IS in Aug, so the school fee is from $0 to $8600 a month! How can he not help with the housework! Haha! We can't even afford a helper lah, right?
We're just starting so let's see. Eventually we will need a helper. Anyone here may have a recommendation??
Agreed...salary is all about it. Of course there is job satisfaction too. BTW who is working in Kowloon Bay? Me too at Skyline!
We will definitely think about "part-time" probably locals, right? But we are also worried about the different style and locals are not so "maid" like, meaning it may be difficult to tell them how we like the tasks to be done, not like Fillipina maids who are "supposed" to listen to our instructions. But I think we do need a pair of extra hands/feet to help pick up, buying food for dinners, cleaning, etc. So the other option is to have a helper again. Afterall with 3 kids it is all about running around, picking up here and there for activities, making sure everybody is doing his or her piece, etc. Will be VERY tiring each day!
you're quite right...lucky the DSS isn't the most expensive one so hopefully ew can manage. My no.3 is going to be K2 this Sept, again luckily they have the subsidy for the tuition fee! Although not applying for P1 yet, we need to start prepare a bit for her future portfolio! You know learning at least a couple of activities and so on.....
The helper is really for housework and two more feet. With 3 kids, I agree typically we need her to be at home with the other one or two while we bring the other one or two out for activities. Saturdays are crazy as sometimes we have activities for 3, separatly.
