I still have to FIGHT with my girl to school this morning, she didn't want to change uniform!!!

i am so exhausted, my maid & I had to change her uniform in the car while my 99 is driving us to school but she was still crying & kicking while we tried to change her... i hope this won't last for too long, if not, i will have anxiety disorder soon! when she's back to school, she will not cry too much, only "play" me at home before school !!! HELP ME!

My girl went to school successfully today ar (2 hr lu).

Have you checked if there is anything inside the school uniform that makes her uncomfortable ??? You may also talk to your daughter if she finds it not beautiful to wear uniform and let her know that it is beautiful as everyone else in the class wears uniform etc. lor. They can understand what it means ga la.

Hi All,
I am returning to HK!!! But am so not looking forward to be in flight for so many hours... Will try to see if upgrading is available at the airport!

I like that distressed gold Les Marais! But when I was at the shop, it didn't catch my eyes and I dared not to try on any new bags (worry that I won't put them down again!!!!), so, don't know how much that costs. But should be in the $2K range. I'll see if seeing any at the airport and check the price for you guys! I miss you all too~~~

Are you sure you won't get another bag? Seems like you are thinking about a jumbo flap woh! hehehee.... I think the distress gold Les Marais really fits you for the nice trendy color, light weight and size of the bag. Maybe you should get both! By the way, I have seen chocolate brown flaps (either large or jumbo) at NM from the Bay Area. That color seems to be very popular and rare from reading from the PF posts. If you want one, try to call soon and see if they still have any la.

Actually there is nothing wrong with the uniform, only she knows if she can get away wearing it, she doesn't have to go to school... her main point is to ditch school... but when i picked her up from school, she seems happy wor, i guess i will continue to fight with her until she got tired of it!

I am quite exhausted with my girl going to school lately, i brought her to school, then go to work, then go to pick her up from school, then back work again!!!!

I don't mind at all ah. I know so many of you are so stress about your kids. Don't worry, it is just a matter of time for them to get used to their new life. I think you must be very stressed ah...I didn't mention anything about you keep talking about your girl at all ga. I guess you can just talk to her after school and see what she likes and dislike in school then encourage her in the morning with all the positives that she likes about school to lure her going. Positive reinforcement should always be tried first.

I didn't get the softener since my own luggages are over weight already. :-( :-( :-( So scared to see the bill later

This time really went nuts on shopping and did the damage in just 2.5 days.

Was asked to help buying the softener not because HK not having it...just because it is much cheaper and more varieties in the States. Don't even have any more room or extra weight for that anyway. :-(

my girl didn't take any swimming class this summer.. I still want her to enjoy the water 1st... so she goes swimming with me all the time!

Did you swim too? It's always better to play with her in the water together .... or take swimming class together wor..

My theory is... I won't let her take swimming class untill 4-5 yrs old..

Hey girls,

Seem like most of you here were busy "fighting" with your kids these days! I can totally show my empathy here. Like my girl, she used many excuses to escape from school when she was in her nursery class. Of course, she has refused more than once to wear the uniform. She sometimes said: mummy, it's rainy day, so no need to go to school. The other day she might say just before preparing for school: mummy, I am too tired, I need to go to bed again right now......

I just forgot from which day onwards, she did not complain and enjoyed school life a lot. So, no worry, especially to fatping1, seems like you're the most worrying mom here wor. Tommorrow will be another day, the rainbow will come soon, after rainy days, rite?

I also think that the distressed gold tote from Les Mairais line pretty, but I just don't know why I loss interest in getting more bags recently. I even want to give up the metallic black reissue tim.

I also hope to spend more time with my kids, like swim together. But I felt too exhausted after work, I could only do something sedentary, like playing piano and reading books.

Don't worry. I'm sure your girl's problem will be settled soon. Perhaps if you can be "cruel" enough, just let your maid to bring her to school. It might reduce the problems "induced" by your daughter.

I discovered that once my mom and I "hands-off" for the school thing, let my maid to bring her to school, she did not cry for this and that any more. And according to the class-teacher, the longer you stayed with your kid, the longer they "cried".

Try try la. She should be "independent" ma.

Yes, you're right. Perhaps I have waited for too long la.....
