Hi everyone!!!

So tired but have to work to fight the jet lag! That's why I have to work right after getting off planes coming from different time zones.

I am finally back!!!

Miss you all~~~ My SA is so good at calculating the dates that the bags arrived today also at my office.

Can't wait to use them! Do you think it is a bad idea to use them tomorrow as it should be another rainny day? I'll try to take some pictures of them as soon as I can.

Seems like everyone starts to plan on further study of kids woh. Will your kids become primary schoolmates again after kindergarten?

Agreed that those ELITE IS need to apply when you are pregnant. Amazing.

That's why my fd now applying the reception class of CIS this year. If I go for CIS, I also need to apply.

Kingston said no plan to have secondary school so far and will not consider. They recommend Creative Secondary School in TKO.

Well, I just applied HKIS for my girl last month... interview will be held in next March.
but since I don't plan on moving to HK side, and the tuition is so horrible.. so I really apply for the sake of applying ar.. I really don't know whether I will send my girl there or not!
As to CIS, I'm currently working on the application ar.. THreetoone is right, better apply for reception 1.. but I know the chance of getting into CIS is slim.. unless the parents are the CEO of some major multi- national corps.. or essential govn't officials...

but Other than this 2 schools, I will not consider other IS for my kids.. ( YC is ? maybe!)... HKIS, reputatable and I like it coz it's US system... CIS , reputatable yet offers good CHinese... other than that, I'm not interested in SIngapore or Canadian IS....Just MY opinion!

I dare not to since all of you guys are so in shape! Plus I bought the bags secretely, no one will take the pictures for me ah. hehehehe....

I haven't been back to SF for a little while and thought they should have a Chanel at the airport (since Ferragamo, Gucci, Blueberry, Celine, etc. have their shop there) by now but end up being so disappointed!

Get your jumbo flap from somewhere else other than Nordie then!! Do it quick to avoid the increase. I wanted to get my navy patent classic with bijoux chain before the increase but seems not possible now. :cry:

If I were you, I would definitely apply for the reception class of CIS for your son right now. Though the chance is slim, it's not zero. Now, for the application for CIS primary, the chance of getting a seat for interview is zero lor. Because even if someone gives up the seat from the reception class, they will only interview those with Cooperate Debenture first. Only if they cannot find someone from these groups which is quite impossible, they will interview those with siblings in the school. So, for those have nothing, the chance is again equivalent to "nothing" lor.

And my choices for IS will be CIS, GSIS, RC and ISF for the time being. Perhaps there will be more after my further research. The former 2 were because of their "academic" results, the latter 2 were because of IB curriculum and good reputations from my friends and colleagues.

How about yours? Anyway, the choices all depends on what you want your child to be. It would be so different for every one, like Kalani's reason for applying HKIS for its American system.

Being parents are so difficult, we have to plan for our kids' future education once we are pregnant or when they are still babies!!! :-| that's why at the end, we only apply for local schools for my girl...

Well, both RC and ISF are newer ISs using IB system and put more emphasis on Chinese besides English.
RC stands for Renaissance College, located at Ma On Shan. ISF stands for Independent Schools of Foundation Academy, located at Pokfulam.

I am aware of these two new ISs just because some of my colleagues' kids studying there.

Local school??? Perhaps I am too greedy, I only like SPCC jar, which I don't think my kids will be accepted, so I decided to give up. But who knows? I might change my mind at any times.

What is YC/GSIS? seems my knowledge in HKIS is little.

Thanks for the info... i think i've read the ad in magazines for the 2 new IS (RC & ISF) u mentioned... the school buildings look very new ar...

At last, i choose local school for my girl as both my DH family & my family are quite traditional... i am afraid i don't know how to communicate with my girl if she studies in IS... anyhow, SPCC of course is my dream school too.. but i guess i just stick to SPC for the time being as SPCC is too competitive la... hope u can find the best school for your kids too! :-P :-P

I got my met blk 227 and dk silver 226 today since I told my SA to send them to me when I am back to HK. Don't want them to sit in my office for too long before coming back ma. I wish I had gotten the navy patent flap with bijoux chain! If you know, any of you know, where I can get one, please let me know!

no la, my girl is not in victoria ar.....i am too late to apply.....finally i send her to local nursery - learning habitat at wongpo.... in this way, i have to apply another kindergarden for her....aiiiii, very very "fan".

u made a good decision - 2 different size; if u got both in 226 size, it looks kind of

..... now, u can use 227 as a daily bag la :loveliness:

I see... so u can pick up your girl very quickly from school la... save time and your girl no need to travel far...

How about your DH and your preference between IS and local school ar? both have cons and pros, difficult to decide for u wor... :-P
