My baby only 6 months old.. she still need formula and baby food..
Nice... HK weather is warmer than here.. but my mom said it is getting cool... so I guess I will still bring some jacket over there...

alvin had flu shot and still am sick :( he is on antibiotics and eye & ear drops cuz the cold virus goes to his throat, eyes and ears....austin has same problem although he didnt get the flu shot...so now i am not even sure if the flu shot is helping at all ...

my c6 wants to send austin to do the test again. although i dont think he would get in, we will give it a try. u definitely should give amanda a try cuz kindergarten is the best time to get in, cuz they have all the spaces available. after that the same ppl go up and they only have a few space left.

i saw the immune c with echinacea in drugstore, i will get one next time.
how much is the private school in CA cost? are you planning to send your sons to private for 2 yrs before sending him to the gifted class in public too ?

for the Echinacea, remember that u're not supposed to take it continously for more than 6 to 8 weeks. take it only when u're sick.

i've tried the crocodile meat myself. i felt a little better after i had it; however, i think it only help a little coz it's not a medication. just drink it as soup.

for the private school's tuition, i've posted reply to u and muimui313 at another link/topic.

my husband's quite demanding that he only wants our son get in the top private school which is very expensive and extremely hard to get in. i'm not even sure if it's worth it. we haven't even submitted the application yet coz the parents need to write an essay abt their kid. he said we might consider relocating to Texas coz a lot of top public schools over there and good place for kids to grow up.

for the gifted class, i'm not sure if our boy will get in when he's 3rd grade. if for kindergarten, he might. u know ... kids always change especially he always likes to play. when i had a tour for the kindergarten and 1st grade classes at some schools, i think their standards are kinda low. so if the kid already knows the stuffs, s/he might get bored. that's one of my concerns.

if that is a flu, even you take any antibiotics, it won't work at all. because they have different pathway. Antibiotics only works on germs, bacteria.. not virus.
Flu and cold are virus, they need 7-10 days to recover.
Do you make sure that Alvin and Austin .. are having flu or cold?? not allergy??
I don't think that flu shot will have with eye problem.. or ear problem..
Did both of them have sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion, watery and itchy eyes, itchy ears? red nose and red+swollen eyes?
They sound like that they are having trouble with allergy rhinitis.

The hosiptal will provide 產後專用O既衛生巾 and the net underwear. When you get home, you can just use the heavy duty pad will be ok

my parents bought my kids chinese cds from 熊熊兒童合唱團. 小小幼稚園 & 聽故事﹐講故事 it's quite good la. check their website out http://www.bear.com.hk/ for sample songs.

pedi prescribed anti-biotics so i guess they have infection in throat, ears and eyes....so if cold is virus, why he prescribed anti-biotics?? they dont have high fever, so i guess it's not flu ? so confused...probably they have allergy too or brochitis? anyway..they r getting much better...just have to bundle them up when going outside cuz they cold air is making them cough :(

i guess all parents want the best for their kids la. but i am not sure about ur private school. and u need to write an essay about your kid? huh? this sounds more like the hongkong kindergarten wow. they need to know what cars the parents drive and what jobs they have..so materialistic....
kindergarten standard is probably lower in the us than in hk la. they dont really teach that much in kindergarten in public school here. unlike my friends' daughter in hk kindergarten, she has to do science project with her parents......my god...i would say the real stuff starts in 2nd grade for public school here and 1st grade for catholic school naw. of cuz each school is different la. but i would not spend that much on kindergarten la.
