I read the thread for a while and have some questions to ask...
My case is a little bit complicated.
My husband has 居英權 and we both went to London for work for 2.5 years and i obtained the "Indefinte leave to remain" before i leave the country. For some reason we both need to move back to HK and i have not naturalized yet during the time i left London. My child born after we're back to HK and i didnt step into UK since then (more than 2 years).
I am planning to bring my child to the UK, what option i can take?
1) Applying "Returning/ Resuming residency status" for myself - in the website mentioning that i need to have prooft of why i have to leave UK and returning. We have a flat in London, is that enough to proof as bonding to UK and i can resume my residency?
2) If i can resume my residency can my husband not going with us? or what kind of proof is needed for family reunion?
coz our plan is to have me and kid move back to UK (i will find a job in UK) for the first few years and daddy will come later. our aim is to help our kid to get the citizenship and can stay in the UK.
