Re: 2歲4個月,還未識講說話
Akinawong,
According to the information you provided, I suspected that your child has language delay. The universal standard for 2 years old kids is:
a. able to use at least 50 words without prompts
b. ablt to combine words into utterances (e.g., daddy go, drink milk.)
Girls are usually faster than that. I'll suggest you to find a speech therapist for a thorough assessment, or at least seek help from the mother-and-child health clinics. It takes time to waitlist for government service. And it is always good to start training ealier if there is a need. Having an assessment doesn't mean that your child has a problem, but you can get advice on how to train her up from the speech therapist.
Please take action. We won't suggest parents to put their child at risk. If the assessment finds no abnormality, then you can be relieved. Why not do so?

My daughter is 26 months. She begin to say "Ah Pa" & "Ah Ma" from last month. She is late to speak & not so many words. She was fail in interview Kent. She can't answer any question when interview. Anyway, I don't care! Other Kinders also accept her.
I know she is OK next year.
When I teach her to talk & ask her to follow me to speak, she feel shy & go away. I don't know why? So, I let her to learn by herself & in her will. I haven't seen any doctor. Because she at least know to say "Ah Pa" & "Ah Ma".
