Yes, keep waiting, what can I do, if I apply again, I have to wait 2 more months.....
This one is my 2nd hiring since Jan, the first one found pregancy after body checkup n the application was send to immigration then the visa granded, but the agent didnt do anything about it, I am the one who handle everthing.. The one i m now waiting to come is the replacement.
actually, my conclusion for 得X is not helpful as all, and their staffs are very rude.

How long do you think we have to wait? Poor me, mother in law cannot help me anymore. Children need someone pick and collect from school, who is going to cook......I am working mother......

Does anyone know the situation now? I have signed a helper at the end of Jan and recently the agent told me that the helper might not come due to the extra fee, and asked me to choose another helper, but i said I just wanted the one i signed as they referred those with poor standard helpers afterwards, now I have been waiting for more than 2 weeks and i just don't know how long should i wait.

I chose a maid on 20 Jan. Today I contacted my agent and asked whether my maid can come or not. They said everything was in progress. The maid will come in early April.

I asked them whether I need to pay extra fee. They said no. I wonder why some maids can come while some cannot. They told me that if we signed the contract before 28/2, HK employers were not responsible for paying extra.

I asked why some agents requested the employers to pay more. My agent emphasized "NEVER PAY MORE" because the maid may not work well once employers pay all the agency fee! As Philipino agents are now "observing" what HK employers do, they will be happy if we pay for all charge!

正義的, 會同菲agent 周旋到底, 企硬唔要香港僱主比; 無良的, 為求好辦事, 就會叫香港僱主比舊錢出黎就算數, 咁一切就易辦事.

但我agent話, 僱主千其唔好上當, 要企硬唔比額外的錢!

Dear missmama, thanks so much for your post! I absolutely signed before 10/2, the cny , and tmr is the day that the agent promised to give me the reply whether the maid come or not come ! Then i can quote your example to stand tough ! Because the agent always says different versions of excuses to me n to my c6!! anyway ,thx for giving me hope!

我又係 24/1 申請工人, 到現在話要加 $5000蚊, 工人才來香港, 否則就是等.... 等.... 等... 都唔知等到幾時..

同你個AGENT 講係兩回事.... ??真係好驚俾AGENT 騙.....

回覆：Agent 話我知, 13/3 菲律賓政府開大會..加agent fee 工人才可到港

我今日都問左agent, 佢話菲政已落實唔可以收工人$，現階段只剩番菲agent同香港agent傾，到底僱主要比多$。
我個agent話要收$5500。起碼要到四月第二或第三個week先到香港。

As far as I know, for those overseas maid who had worked in HK before, no need to paid agency fee again for re-enter HK, ie. this is a one time fee only. For my case, the maid i m now hiring was employed in HK, so this time she only paid 500 peso to local agent......But I ask my stupid agent today c if my maid can come earlier, the staff told me the standard answer: I DONT KNOW. NO SCHEDULE for arrival at the moment.......
