The usual hectic weekend again....have you guys heard about Mass Mutual Jr Astronaut program? We went for it with no.1 (again) this year and we had the competition this afternoon....we got into the final 15! Will need to go through the final interview stage next Sat to be the final final 6 to go to the US Space Camp! OK, didn't think we would got into this round but no.1 did it (marginally) so we are already very happy about this result! It's just very exhausting for me........then another round next week.....
We are also planning to go to 長隆!!! Sounds like it's a popular destination for a short trip!!! Will go with the family and mom and my sister and brother's families too!!

That's the one, 小太空人計劃...they will now go through the final interview with the judge panel (all from uni principals and famous officials) who will choose 6 from the 17. Will be a lot of pressure....thanks for your wishes.
In regards to the increment, I think it is a gesture at least, so the company still does something to retain you, which you have every right to resign (and get the maternity leave anyway). How bad was it? I had the same situation when I was pregnant with no.1, I cried a few times (of course that's when I was pretty young) in the office and one day I started to cry again and told my boss maybe I should resign. I stayed and after maternity I stayed for another 6 years.
No need to pay money, first round you need to submit a creative project to show your interest in space, etc. They choose from 2000 applications to 50 and attend some training (last year it was a one-day outward bound plus camping, while this year was a half-day creative thinking workshop) for the kids. Then go through 3 tests to see the highest 15 to go through this 3rd round, which is this Saturday to meet with the panel judges!
I think Zac has a big chance...it's a program for kids from 7-11. If you like to know more, we can chat!
In fact, yes, No.1 has tried his best and I'm proud of him. He sometimes will see challenges and may not want to overcome them. This time he did really well.
Wah, this is no.4 wor, of course "take your time"....can you imagine going through the new-born baby stage with night feeding, not enough sleep, etc.? But i also recall how the baby was like a little angel afterall!! It's still a very rewarding period! Compare that to when it's primary exam time....
